  The food is definitely better in Hawaii 😬 We tried the tacos our super sweet waitress recommended, and they were actually really good, super crispy and different from anything I’ve had before. I got the mushroom ravioli, and it just wasn’t it… the pasta was thick and you couldn’t taste the mushrooms at all. My husband ordered a burger and said it was fine, but honestly, he thinks Burger King tastes better. The woman who took care of us was amazing super friendly, warm, and really attentive. I’m giving it 4 stars just because of the staff.

  I really love bringing my family here, the kids menu is delicious and very healthy options available including salmon. My favorite is French dip sandwich, with a side of dirt house olive spread aoli.

  Came in at 12:30. Was denied seat at bar as the bartender was solo and overwhelmed. Decided to wait for a table. Was quoted 30 minutes. Was seated at 1:20 only to observe the seat I was unable to sit at the bar was seated and they were already served. Host fail.

  3/28/26.....lunch today turned out to be very good! Had the pasta and shrimp with bread service on the side. The rolls are warm and perfectly chewy. I love that senior portions are available. Service was just right and not overbearing...... Also, the manager informed me they can now again accept my South Coast Plaza gift card!!!!! 12/31 (Yes, went directly to customer service of Nordstrom to discuss. Did not want to discuss with restaurant "people" who are not very customer oriented.)Well here it is about a year later 12/21/25 and some shenanigans again from the wait staff!! Waiter actually added his own tip to my bill and then there was still the tip "line" for me to add my tip! Some nerve. When I called him out on it he said "oh the system" must have added it. Seriously, I have no doubt he thought I would not notice. Sooo not good. Customers beware. Positive note: my pasta with shrimp was very very good. In addition this restaurant no longer accepts a South Coast Plaza Gift card. FYI to management. Soooo this visit, Saturday, March 5 at about 11:15 a.m., sat at the bar which is open again yay! Was floored when the waiter/bartender (not a new guy in training but the dark haired regular; wish I had gotten his name) actually had the nerve to add a tip to my bill. How do I know this; I checked my balance at a cashier in the store to see an additional $4 taken off from what I knew was the total. I had used a gift card so he had said no need to sign it. Now I know why. Isn't that stealing??? (I had left some cash as a tip) actually not much thankfully as he was sort of rude as well. Not good all the way around. (Oh the Asian chicken salad very good as always)
