I moved here from NYC 3 years ago. I had no expectations for pizza, especially Sicilian. But took a chance on the West Coast Prince St and ordered the Sunset. This is the closest I’ve ever had to L and B Spumoni Garden Square!. It’s nice to have a piece of home here.
The worst customer service always!! They do not care about delivery drivers either! Look at the reviews of how they treat the VERY people delivering their overpriced pizza. They literally say the same thing, “after careful review the driver was the only one in the store” They NEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY and ALWAYS blame the drivers. And some power hungry “managers” even go as far as leaving the driver a bad rating and blocking them from deliveries. When it’s their fault EVERY TIME, leaving a bad rating for a driver is literally the worst most ignorant thing they can do because it directly effects the drivers earnings and if you don’t know most drivers are scraping away just trying to support their family. If you have any common sense you would NEVER spend a penny with these people.
Once again I witnessed staff treating a delivery driver like absolute garbage. They also threatened them, saying something like, this will be your last delivery, when I was there the entire time and witnessed everything. The driver waited at least. 30 minutes because I waited just as long for 2 slices and they still messed up my order. I actually wanted to try the pizza in person because the last time I got it delivered through slice it showed up completely soggy and the box was literally wet. And now I know why, because they made drivers use a bag thinking it keeps it “fresh” or warm when in reality it keeps it wet and soggy. But they don’t care, they don’t take feedback very well, look at some of the asinine responses to reviews. Go look for yourself, complete ignorance and they will never care because customer service is dead, I get better customer service from an uber driver. So sad to see this level of ignorance when they charge $8 a slice and I literally bought a $60 dollar delivered soggy mess. I also witnessed several other drivers come in and wait wait wait and it wasn’t even busy, all they care about is repeating some type of “policy” with ZERO regard for the driver or the customer he or she is servicing. Plenty of WAY BETTER pizza options in the area, skip this terribly overpriced ZERO customer service place, it’s not worth it at all.
This honestly is the best pizza I've had hands down, first time I had it was their location in San Diego, and I had to try this one too. It is amazing, the Naughty Pie is my favorite, and the Spicy Spring is a close 2nd for me. The Smoked Mozzarella sticks are so good I ended up finishing them all before I even got back to my car. The Sicilian style Garlic bread is mouthwatering, I'm so glad I tried it. Overall this place does not disappoint, the vibe is great there, while waiting you can look at the celebrities that they took pictures with across their many locations and you can see their pizza being made fresh in front of you. 100% recommend this place even if you just want to grab a quick fresh slice. Also, try their sauces they are amazing including their 'Not Ranch' which was creamy and delicious, i love their hot honey too, and i had to get an extra side of it.

If you’re hunting for some of the best pizza in Costa Mesa, Prince Street Pizza is absolutely in the conversation.
Personally I’m a New York pizza person myself, and if we’re getting ultra-specific, I love New Haven style. Yes, I’ve watched enough David Portnoy pizza reviews to qualify for a minor degree. I didn’t even know what New Haven-style pizza was at one point, and now there’s no going back.
That being said, Prince Street Pizza is probably the best you’re going to find around here. Their St Lois spicy Pepperoni is AWESOME!
The crust hits, the flavor hits, and the slices mean business. Best of all you heat it up the next day in the air fryer and it's crispy and crunchy just like it was when you brought the box home.
Now for the tragedy: this place is expensive. Like “let me check my banking app before ordering a second slice” expensive. And somehow, despite charging premium prices, they do not offer ranch. No ranch. Zero ranch. Apparently they’ve decided their pizza is too sophisticated for such peasant luxuries. Meanwhile, some of their slices would be elite with a little ranch.
Note to the upper management, please swallow your bougie pride and sell us ranch, in fact make it in house and make it the best ranch we can find an area. If you can make pizza this good then I'm sure you can make a really good ranch to go with it.
For the record, we pick up a few pies every couple of weeks for all the boys at the shop. Again, it’s not cheap, but it is really good.
Oh and by the way, this high end bougie pizza offers most of their delicious live n a box sell most of their pizza by the slice, which helps soften the financial blow. No excuses my fellow Costa Mesa peeps, stop in and try this place at least once.
When you get there tell them Costa Mesa Dave sent you. Oh and don't forget to bring your own ranch!
