  I visited the Dutch Bros in Concord, California with my children, and what should have been a fun first experience for them turned into something upsetting and humiliating. We entered the drive-through the same way several other vehicles did, including a white family in a van directly before us who was allowed through without any issue. However, when we entered, we were immediately met with attitude and told to get out of the line. What made the situation worse was the clear difference in treatment. After we parked, I continued watching other cars go the same direction we did, and the employee was extremely polite and friendly to them. As a Black woman, it honestly felt like my children and I were racially profiled and discriminated against. The employee’s tone, body language, and behavior toward us were completely different. When he walked away, he rolled his eyes at us, which only added to how disrespectful the interaction felt. My children had never been to Dutch Bros before, and we were excited to finally try it together. Instead of leaving with a positive experience, we left feeling embarrassed, unwelcome, and hurt. I also have video footage of the employee as well as dash cam footage of the interaction. I hope Dutch Bros takes this seriously because no family should be treated differently or made to feel unwelcome based on race.

  Love the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff here! The coffee is consistently delicious, and their seasonal drinks are always a fun surprise. I just wish the lines weren't sometimes so long, but it's worth the wait for a tasty pick-me-up!

  I was SUPER upset that on Mothers Day I woke up at 4am to drive an hour, (not to mention 50$ in gas) to get a coffee and sticker for myself and a few lovely ladies in my family. I was 1st in line! After I ordered 35$ in drinks and was already charged, they said they had no stickers! SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!!

  The coffee here is consistently good, and the staff is always friendly and energetic, which makes for a nice atmosphere. However, the drive-thru line can get pretty long during peak hours, so be prepared to wait a bit. Overall, it's a solid place for a pick-me-up, just plan your visit accordingly.
