  September 9, 2026 at approximately 9:30 PM Disappointing experience. I arrived around 9:30 PM, about 30 minutes before closing, and was told there would be a 40-minute wait for chicken. Considering the restaurant was still open, that honestly came across as a way to discourage customers from placing orders so close to closing. I completely understand that restaurants have to prepare for closing, but if you’re open until a certain time, customers should still reasonably expect to be able to order the main item on the menu. If service effectively stops before the posted closing time, that should be communicated clearly.

  The workers there need to work on their customer service. They were dismissive and don't say thanks. El Pollo Loco needs to train these employees on customer service. It doesn't matter that we are in Compton. We deserve respect. Not to be ignored. My order was just sitting there, and I was standing at the counter for 10 minutes.

  No se como describir todo el mal rato que me hicieron pasar anoche que iba a tomar mi cena, pensando que El Pollo loco de este lugar iba hacer exquisito. Estoy muy, muy decepcionada del servicio que dan estas personas. No se toman enserio su trabajo y la atención que le brindan a los clientes cuando se trata de servir bien una orden.
