  The bishops store house is not a place to be visited without a very specific invitation so to speak. In order to be allowed there you must be given permission by the bishop of the ward you live in from the mirmon church. The permission is that you are allowed to go to the storehouse to be given a food order that the bishop approved for you and your family, to sustain you for a two week period. This food order is very different then another church giving away food as this order is tailor made to you and your family and it will be real food that you will eat, food you will eat plus toiletries for the whole family baby products such as diapers and wipes if you qualify, housewares like Saran wrap toilet paper shampoo dish soap etc.So as I said if a person sere just to show up there with out the bishops approval they will be turned away. But they will be given the information need|Ed to obtain a food order and any other services that they may be able to help your family with. The store house is only available on Tuesdays 9 am to 1 pm and Thursdays 12 to 7.

  Traffic sucked but the ease of getting the stuff we needed no wait time no hassle thanks you guys. I was the first to call on a Thursday and. I called around 10am and they had my order done first waiting for me all day but everything was still exactly the temp it needed to be no problems. Just traffic on the way back was a nightmare

  So everyone is aware Google maps says this is a supermarket, it is not. Google has it mislabeled. It is a "store" house used by the Church of Latter Days Saints to store food that they use to help members of the church as well as people in the community. In giving this location a review I am actually giving the church itself a review. And I can tell you without question, with no exaggerating that the Bishop, who is the bishop of my local branch of LDS is an amazingly compassionate man. The members of the local LDS church have been there for me and my family over the last couple of years in particular since I was laid off. There has been more than a couple of times I have broke protocol so to speak and went straight to the Bishop when I needed help. He has never faltered, he has never turned me away because I'm not a member of the church, the members of the church have never looked down on me because I have a criminal past, they have never treated me like I was "less" because I am dirt poor at the moment. They have always been kind, compassionate and when I needed it, they had no issues helping to put me in my place. I know in the news and on social media there are reports of misconduct by members of the LDS church. The LDS church is not responsible for the actions taken by any person. A person is a person. It does not matter their religion, color, social economical background, they are a person. So any actions taken by a person should not be blamed on the LDS church on the whole or any church for that matter. The LDS church does not allow or encourage, look over etc any type of action such as those in the news. But to get back to the review of this physical location the store house is very well kept, has a very functional volunteer staff that keep things moving quickly and efficiently. You can not go here and go shopping, you can not simply go in or ask for food donations. You must contact your local LDS church and follow the proper procedures. Having said that the food and items that they away are incredibly good, the household items alot are name brand and all are what you need or want. This is not your typical food distribution giveaway by a church where a person might 7 cans of recently expired pumpkin pie mix and a bag of brown lettuce salad. I am in no way being disrespectful to any church or good giveaway because without them many people like me would starve and go without dramatically. The items given to you here are items you choose prior to your arrival to pick them up, working with a member of the church to fill out the order request form for you and then submit it to the bishop of your area. If he agrees, he will approve it. You will then go down to the store house either on a Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm or Thursdays from 12 pm to 7 pm. Before you drive there you should call ahead and provide the number order given to you by the member who helped you fill out the order form and give them the time you will be there so the order is ready for you upon your arrival and you will not have to wait long. I recommend the storehouse not as a supermarket store, but as a food distribution center for those in need. Again there are certain rules and conditions so check with your local LDS church or LDS members if you are in need.
