  The chicken is excellent. Everything else tastes very generic. It used to be better. Dining room was closed

  My toddler developed a severe stomach virus that left me short on time to cook a chicken soup, so last minute I headed to Pollo Loco where I knew I could buy one for her. I ordered at the drive thru without issues. When I pulled up to the window, there was a young man finishing something up, once finished, he ran up and opened the window. Before I could speak he said "can you please pull up to the front" in a frazzled manner. I said "sure" and pulled up to the front. I waited for nearly 30 minutes, it was getting dark, when I saw a car go in & out. I figured my soup had required a long time, is why I waited. I said "hi, im still waiting for my order" they asked what I had ordered and I told them the chicken soup. A young lady came on the speaker and said "we thought you left, you didn't pay for your order" in which I replied, "you told me to pull up to the front" she said "we told you to come back" I said "you didnt" and she said "uh huh," it was a back and fourth. When did they tell me if they didn't see me again? I only note my experience because I have gone to many fast foods places where they either take my payment out there or atleast bother to come tell their customers they made a mistake and need to pay. I sat out there waiting with a small toddler, with tummy issues and a bucket. I am very dissapointed at the unproffesionalism, laziness or sheer imcompetence I had to experience today.

  I ordered 3 piece chicken like always,but this time I received 2 small leg and a thigh (not happy). They didn't give me my chips nor offered me any salsa. My salad came with no dressing I took my salad up to the counter for dressing and they said I needed to order it on the kiosk. Before all that took place I had to ask for napkins to clean off our table because there were no clean tables available. I guess if I really want El Pollo Loco I need to find another location.

  By far this place needs a ton of improvements especially the food!
