The food was okay overall. The ají de gallina wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t order it again; the rice, however, was pretty bad. The lomo saltado was tasty, with a very simple and modest presentation, heavy on onions, but still flavorful.
Peruvian food is usually great, but I’d say this place is more mid-tier. Prices are quite affordable. The passion fruit drink lacked flavor, but the chicha was very enjoyable.
They also offered jalapeño sauce; that’s fine for a Mexican restaurant, but for a Peruvian spot, I’d expect rocoto instead. The waitress was very kind and attentive; she’s Mexican — I could tell by her accent and because she hinted that she didn’t like the sauce that I personally enjoy a lot.
The music was lively, with good salsa vibes, but whenever the waitress went into the kitchen, the Bluetooth connection would cut off and break the atmosphere. The decor is very extravagant, probably the most striking thing about the place.
There's definitely room for improvement,

Had to rate this restaurant based on my past experiences with other Peruvian restaurants and sadly, it didn't exceed my expectations. What I mean is, there are plenty of others that provide more for your money example: No warm fresh bread with butter, no refills on beverages even though they charge close to 4 dollars for a can of diet coke, the green sauce came in a very small dish, these were the things I noticed and I'm not going to there about the portions. The first thing I asked the waitress was, does the Lomo Saltado come with bread and I was told in a very curt way, No. The Bill was 50 plus dollars and I just felt robbed. Anyway, should you decide to stop by, bring lots of family or friends place was literally empty. Good luck.
