  Normally, I would give this store high ratings, but because of today's experience my rating for this store is low. Cashier Shawnee had a bad attitude today and threw my receipt off to the side instead of handing it to me. She was very unprofessional and it was totally uncalled for. If she is going to be treating her customers this way then I will find a better store to go to. Hopefully the store will properly address this issue and not sweep it under the rug. If you want to look at the cameras for proof, I was there on 5/4/2026 at 6:46 pm. I paid separately for two orders via credit & debit card.

  This is a bigger shop, the aisle are larger than most shops I've been into. There was a cashier, who was helping an elderly lady load her groceries onto the checkstand. The line was slower because of this, but I didn't mind—as he was doing charity work for a customer! He did develop a rapport with me, and apologized for the wait when I was second in line. I informed him, he did the right thing! A Christianity Duty, helping out someone which was not a requirement! I enjoyed seeing someone help another person out, with no expectations back! Overall, this is a nice shop! Bigger shop than normal, but great experience! I liked it here, good job!

  Saw this security guard blocking the pokemon cards for herself, she blocked the opposite door and the machines from anyone even kids from using the machine and witnessed her checking the machine for stock constantly

  I had an experience at Vons that deserves real recognition. I came in at the end of the month, right before closing, as the last customer. My debit card didn’t go through, and I was stuck at checkout. The cashier, Kathy, handled it in a way you rarely see today. Instead of rushing me or turning me away, she calmly told me to call my bank and said she understands how it feels to leave without groceries over something small like this. She stayed past closing to help resolve the situation, even knowing she likely would not be compensated for that extra time. That level of ownership is rare. I’m involved in a community that regularly organizes purchases for events and group needs. Based on this experience, I will be directing that business toward Vons. Kathy had no idea who she was helping that evening, and that matters—this is how real customer loyalty is built. That level of empathy and professionalism is uncommon. Because of Kathy, I will continue shopping at Vons. She represents your brand better than any marketing campaign. If management is reading this—she deserves to be recognized and rewarded. She operates as if the store is her own and clearly cares about both the business and its customers.
