  I don't usually write reviews, but I felt this experience should be shared. My mother recently passed away, and after receiving my inheritance, I wanted to help my father in the Philippines by sending him money so he could build a home and support himself financially. Because of that, I have been using the Western Union service at this Albertsons frequently. This particular transaction was especially urgent because the builder working on my father's home had stopped all construction until payment was received. I wasn't making these transfers for convenience—I was trying to get funds to my father as quickly as possible so construction could continue. Every time I have come in, Erin, Maria, and Francis have been kind, professional, welcoming, and helpful. They have always handled my Western Union transactions with respect and made the process easy. I truly appreciate their outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, my experience with Nathan was completely different. When I asked him to process my transaction, he immediately told me the amount was too large and that he was uncomfortable doing it. I explained that I had completed similar transactions at this same store with no issues, but he commented that I had been there "a lot" making transactions, as if I had done something wrong. I explained that I was simply trying to help my father after my mother's passing, but he said he would have to ask his supervisor the next day if it would be allowed. He then told me he was not going to process my transaction and that I could just leave. I completely understand that employees must follow company policies and procedures. If there had been a policy preventing the transaction, I would have understood. What I could not understand was the way I was spoken to. I left feeling embarrassed, defeated, and disrespected during an already difficult time in my life. The delay also meant my father had to wait even longer to pay his builder and continue construction on his home. My family and I have always done our grocery shopping at this Albertsons because it is only two minutes from our home. We have been loyal customers for years. Unfortunately, after being treated this way, we no longer feel comfortable shopping here. We will be taking our business elsewhere, where we hope to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. I hope management recognizes the excellent customer service consistently provided by Erin, Maria, and Francis. They have always made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. I also hope this feedback encourages additional customer service training so that every customer is treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.

  If it wasn't for Erin, we would have left immediately and left a horrible review. Erin's professionalism shined brightly as did her customer service skills. The black gentleman in the deli was very customer service oriented. Unfortunately, the lead Hispanic lady in the deli, was out right rude and unhelpful. She's losing business for the store..

  When can your store finish the construction????? Most frozen meals are not placed in the cooler, not willing to shop here anymore!!

  This store is ok, but I would expect it to be more organized for the location it's in. Employees aren't that helpful.
