- ZOZorina OhanianMay 3, 20264.0I am really liking all the changes that are being made. And now that Whole Foods has closed down this has become my go to spot. I love the addition of the JustFoodForDogs freezer, and the improvements made to open up the parking spots. However, the fact that they have the detergent locked up is quite inconvenient. If people are stealing from the Rite Aid side of the market, Vons should put a security person at the door or a person standing in the back area ready to open locked cabinet. I can assure you, it will cost less to pay for this then the cost of lost sales for all the items they are planning to lock up. Today Vons lost $50 as I was planning to buy 2 large detergents, however it was inconvenient for me to track someone down to open the cabinet. At the end of the day, if you’re upgrading the store and wanting to attract clientele from Cheviot Hills, Vons needs to think about how to balance a real problem of theft versus convenience for paying customers.
