  We had the most amazing experience here celebrating my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary! Chef Jafar was incredibly attentive and generous. All the food was so delicious - we all felt like it’s the most authentic Indian food we’ve had in a long time. The chaat options were yummy, the South Indian food was so good, and the kheer cannoli dessert special was out of this world! Thank you to Chef Jafar for making our evening and celebration so special. Would definitely come here again.

  For my daughters 18th bday, we catered food from Tulsi and had a mixed crowd. The menu included Pani Puri shots, Veggie sliders, Chicken 65, Paneer Tikka. The appetizers went in no time; Veggie sliders were a hit. Pani Puri got a rave feedback from kids as appetizer on TikTok. My personal favorite was the Biryani and had a special kick.

  Tulsi Kitchen is fantastic. I was in a rush to get to the airport, so I pre-ordered my meal over the phone. Although most restaurants flat out refuse to that, the chef there was very considerate. They mostly cater to takeout orders, but when I mentioned that I was heading to the airport and would otherwise have to eat in my car if there wasn’t any seating, they said, “We’ll give you a table and a couple of chairs — come on down.” I can’t tell how happy that made me. The food was absolutely delicious. I had their thali, and the eggplant curry and daal were to die for. The naan was so soft and yummy. I also got a paneer roll and aloo paratha in a doggy bag for my flight, and they were excellent as well. The chef, who is also the owner, is so sweet and nice to talk to. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good, authentic Indian food.

  I chose Tulsi to cater an order for an international event at the UCLA Campus for over 100 people and served vada pav and samosas. It was a perfect choice as not only is the food delicious, but the service is up to the mark. From the get go, they were quick with responses, adapted to needs and treated the customer in a welcoming manner. I was in contact with Chef Jafar and he exhibited amazing communication and even packed each box individually and delivered it to us. The CEO Chirag also payed individual attention to the catering order. Overall, my experience with Tulsi has always been positive, and I’m happy to see a business that values the customer and stays accessible while providing a quality and consistent service!

  We recently hosted a party for about 50 guests and had Tulsi Indian Eatery set up a live dosa counter at our home—and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Chef Jafar and his team were incredibly professional, punctual, and well-organized. They went above and beyond, helping with setup and staying throughout the entire event to ensure everything ran smoothly. The dosas were fresh, delicious, and a huge hit with all our guests. They also served idly and vada, which were equally tasty and perfectly prepared. The quality of the food and the level of service truly stood out. If you’re looking for catering that combines great taste with excellent service, I highly recommend Tulsi Indian Eatery. They made our event extra special!
