- LCLinda C.Jun 13, 20262.0I’ve been coming to Café Bistro for more than five years, and I’ve always enjoyed the experience. On my recent visit, though, I noticed several changes that made the meal less enjoyable. The first change was the new seating process. I preferred paying first and then being seated, as it always felt quicker and more convenient. After we were seated this time, it took quite a while before our server came by for drink orders. I was also disappointed to see changes to the menu. The crab bisque one of the best I’ve ever had is no longer offered. My favorite sandwich, the Bistro Club with green beans and sliced chicken, used to be discontinued but still available upon request. Today I was told they no longer carry sliced chicken at all, only chicken breast, so I declined. I ordered the steak for $36, but the quality was comparable to what you’d find at Norms. My husband ordered the salmon, which he has enjoyed in the past, but it wasn’t the same quality as before. The kids’ mac and cheese was consistent, but overall the food has noticeably declined. The service was okay, but the food quality has dropped enough that this will likely be our last visit to Café Bistro
