- MKMatthew Kealey4 days ago1.0My mom and I just went through the establishment here at the El Pollo Loco in Cathedral City, and I don't know who took the order at 4:00 PM, but he was extremely rude and wouldn't even let my mom look at the menu so she could order her food. This employee needs to be reprimanded.
- CCclubmudge4 days ago1.0Wow. So very disappointed with today's order from this location. FYI I live very close (walking distance) to the Pollo Loco on Date Palm but because their food quality had decreased, for the past year or so I've been going to the Hwy 111 location. Until today, this was a MUCH better and reliable choice. Using a coupon, which is the only way I can afford the treat of restaurant food given my limited budget, my double chicken tostada today was very disappointing. The shell was missing by nearly half and it was soggy and stale. I called, asking to speak with a manager, but didn't get past the lady on the phone. She suggested I report my disappointment via this review, and my advice that this Pollo Loco location, also, lost a customer. Second time 'shame on me' ?? Yep, maybe their app gets deleted from my phone. Sad.

I cannot remember ever experiencing unfriendly staff at Pollo loco and the atmosphere can vary from a very old store that's clean but not fresh and when compared to a new installation or a new remodel it could be looking a bit worn, but it tells you that many many people have visited that Pollo loco! It's always good; have some Pollo loco!
