  Wow! Yazmin was phenomenal. We were greeted and welcomed with so much joy! To put the cherry on top, EVERYTHING we ordered was so delicious and the perfect amount of sweetness. We will be back! Thank you!!

  I love Sweet Valentines Bakery especially the Red Velvet Cake. Ordered to pick up on a Saturday and at the last minute called to see if they could have it ready for an earlier date and they did! Appreciated that! Had a lot of compliments on the Red Velvet Cake. We will certainly return for future orders.

  TLDR: Warm and cozy bakery with great customer service. Desserts leave a bit to be desired. The bakery is aesthetically pleasing and gives such a warm and cozy vibe. Great lighting and seating, perfect for a quick meeting, but any party larger than 4 might be tricky. Desserts We Bought: - Biscoff Cheesecake Slice - Peach Cobbler - Pecan Pie Slice - 3 Cranberry White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies - Cinnamon Roll Total: $47 The Biscoff cheesecake was a letdown. It is a plain frozen cheesecake slice with a dulcet de Leche style drizzle and a biscoff cookie and crumble. I was hoping for something with a biscoff crust, maybe some actual biscoff flavorings inside so this was a bit of a disappointment. The peach cobbler was pretty standard, but it wasn't a hit for us. Not terrible, just not great either. The pecan pie didn't have enough pecan for our liking, but wasn't the worst pecan slice. The Cranberry and White Chocolate cookies were a bit too sweet, I think this might have had something to do with the fact that they were so small. The cinnamon roll was another big letdown for me. It was not soft, fluffy, and gooey like I would prefer my rolls. It was not terrible, it was just a different style that didn't suit my taste. Overall: I really want Sweet Valentine to win, but it feels like there are too many corners being cut in order to constantly churn out a variety of offerings. I'd suggest finding a few items and really doing those well. For the money spent versus the product received, I can't say I fully recommend this place, but the environment is lovely and the customer service was great. The lady working the front desk gave us complementary cookies that were very good, Churro Butter. I also hear that there is usually complementary coffee. Not open on Sundays and parking is usually not a problem. I didn't hate it, just not my cup of tea for southern sweets. Maybe swing by for a cookie.

  German Chocolate Cake Delicious better than my Grandma’s, so that’s really really good ❣️🎁 My cookies are good, but they are broken into cookie bites, still delicious ❣️ Thank you for all you do❣️

  Let me start by saying I really didn’t want to write a review. I normally don’t, especially when I’m unhappy with a service, but this experience kept coming back to my mind. I saw an advertisement for this place on TikTok and thought, “Hey, they’re not too far. Let me give them a try.” I drove from Redondo Beach to Carson, which was about a 25–30 minute drive depending on traffic. When I walked in, the hospitality was unfortunately at a level zero. The employee barely acknowledged us, went behind the counter, and there was about 10–12 seconds of complete silence before she offered us three cookies to try. There was no “Welcome in,” no “What brings you in today?” or even a genuine attempt to engage with me or my kids. My kids and I eventually decided which cookies we wanted, and I let her know what I was purchasing. Even then, the interaction remained very dull and unwelcoming. Based on the previews and advertising I had seen, I expected to walk into a friendly, welcoming establishment. That was absolutely not my experience. The cookies themselves were good, but unfortunately, the customer service took away from the experience drastically. I drove from Redondo Beach to Carson specifically to try this place, and based on this experience, it’s not a drive I’ll be making again. It’s unfortunate because the product is good, but great cookies can’t completely make up for poor customer service.
