My niece ordered a pizza through DoorDash, it was a little late around 10:00 p.m. The pizza arrived burnt. Called and talked to the manager and explained the situation, she told me they're the 24-hour policy. It hadn't been 24 hours. I still have the pizza available minus two slices because the food was ordered a disabled senior citizen that needed to eat. The manager told me that I could bring the pizza down. I asked on the phone was I going to get a fresh pizza or a credit and she told me to come down, she'd wait for me and we'll talk about it. I get to the location and I asked to speak to the manager because that is who I talked to on the phone but another associate came to the window and said that the manager who she pointed to was making pizzas. No problem. So I have to explain the situation that I just talked to the manager about and that she told me to come down and bring the pizza. So the prep associate, takes the pizza I had and say you want a remake and I say I guess how long is it going to take? She says about 20 minutes or so. I go to my car and think that I didn't want to wait 20 minutes because if it was going to be a remake it could have been remade right away and I didn't feel like waiting 20 minutes. She said we could discuss it when I got there and I decided that I didn't want to wait. But if the pizza had already been started I would have taken the pizza, no problem. I asked had the pizza been started and the prep associate said no, It's going to be like 20 minutes or more still and so I asked can I just have the credit and I will go to another location that I prefer that is closer to my home. I said I like that location and I always usually go to the Compton location closer to my home. The prep associate says something under her breath so I asked her to repeat what she said. She said, then that's where I should've went. If she was listening I told her I didn't place the order but she looked tired and hot so I guess I can now understand her frustration. The prep associate told me she was going to clock out and fight me. Things def did not go great from there. This prep associates said that I just wanted to come in there and start trouble but I didn't. I walked in and asked for the manager that I talked to on the phone. This is a situation that could've been avoided if the manager came and spoke to me, like I asked, I never said that I was in a rush. The manager came to me after just standing there and said all she could do was remake the pizza. Why would I want anything from them? It was hard to get any information about corporate from the manager. I called 1-800 Domino's but after googling realized it's only open Monday through Friday. So I'd say go to this location only if you're ready to fight for your burnt Pizza. Wish I would have taken pictures to add. Not to mention since they're doing reconstruction it was hard to even find the place.
