  Great great food ! Very delicious ! I totaysee why they have a 4.5 star review on here. The salsa omgosh and the cheese sauce, they don't call it queso. So much food on the plate kinda pricey but food is worth it ! Only down side we didn't like was the purple cabbage they add for color I guess which was on the rice. Service was good too they stay on top of it.

  I hate to leave a bad review for this restaurant considering it used to be one our favorite restaurants to eat when we visit Encinitas. I have to say this restaurant went down hill on service. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy at all. My family and I wanted to sit outside but the server/hostess told us there would be a 15 minute wait and almost sounded like she didn’t want to sit us outside. So, we gave in to sitting at a table. We wanted to get some happy hour drinks but we were told we had to sit at the bar to drink them. Any other restaurant we go to gladly serve happy hour appetizers and drinks from wherever we sit in the restaurant. The servers seemed a bit cold, all of them! I’m not sure if we came at a bad day. It was a Friday around 2 pm. There were a lot of vacant tables inside and outside so we aren’t sure why the servers seemed too busy to serve us. I was so disappointed with the aura the staff gave us when we arrived that I almost didn’t order anything at all. I only did because my children were with us. The food was good, as it’s known for. This 2 star rating is for the service. The last time we were there about 3 years ago, it was a very pleasant experience. Sadly, not this time around. I hope this review will help the servers be more welcoming.

  Be advised that if you have a party of more than 8 you have to have 80% of your party present before they will even seat you. Food was ok just don't order nachos per Jason... price a little high but front end service was horrible UPDATE. Said they would reach out to make right. TWO emails sent zero response. So seems they want to push they take care of issues to the public eye but if fact they do not follow up. Will not be back or recommend to future travels.

  It was the worst experience I’ve had in my whole 25 years of life, not only was it so bad because all I wanted to do was do the special walk around passport stamp. They told me I had to wait the hour timeframe just to get the stamp but she had the worst customer service ever all that was missing is that she had a spit on me, never like neverrr ever go here

  Visiting from out of town, but probably the best Mexican food we've ever had. We had the grilled carnitas burrito and the spicy shrimp and salmon special and they were both amazing. Our server was very kind. We sat on the patio and did see a rat running around, but we were outside so 🤷 that's my only complaint. I would eat here again! There's no incentive for posting a review, we genuinely loved the food.
