This is aimed at the floral dept. I ordered flowers through ftd for Mother's Day and within two days all the roses died and couldn't be revived. Yes there was water, and maybe my mom should work in this dept because she knows how to cut rose stems. When laying $70 for a bouquet, it would be nice if it lasted a while....

I would like to express my frustration regarding my experience today around 5:30 PM. It has been a huge inconvenience every time I try to use coupons during my purchase. This is only the second time I have used them, and the same issue happened the first time as well.
The cashier had to call the manager for assistance, and unfortunately the manager did not seem pleasant or helpful. It felt like she was annoyed by the situation. I also believe cashiers should be properly trained on how to process coupons to avoid the inconvenience of having to call a manager every time.
In my opinion, this is not professional customer service, and personally, I will not be returning to this store.

Usually I buy only French Bread there. Last times I bought lamb a few times. Their Lamb meat looks like expired and they repackaged with new label. Lamb meats look dead (go to black) and smell dead meat. Twice I cooked that type of meat and was sick for 2 weeks. Now, I buy Lamb meat from Grocery Outlet and their Lamb looks and smells fresh. I had to report them to the USDA and CDFA, but didn’t. Most of their employees are rude and unresponsible.
UPDATE: After their comment I checked and bought 3 pcs of Lamb. Still not fresh. It looks like and smells Dead meat. I took photo of Lamb from Grocery Outlet for comparison.

I had a frustrating experience at this Safeway location today. I attempted to pay with Apple Pay at multiple self-checkout machines, and none of them worked. I understand that technical issues happen, but what made the situation disappointing was the lack of help and communication from staff.
When I asked for assistance, I was given no clear explanation of what the issue was or what I should do next. I then waited in line for a cashier, but Apple Pay did not work there either. When the cashier asked another employee (Kim) for help, she was dismissive and did not offer any useful guidance. When I asked what I should do, I was essentially told “I don’t know” in an unhelpful tone.
As someone who works in customer service, I know things can go wrong—but basic communication and empathy go a long way. A simple explanation or suggestion would have made a big difference. Instead, I ended up leaving without purchasing anything after wasting time in line.
At the end, I expressed that the situation was disappointing, and Kim responded with a laugh along with a quick apology, which felt unprofessional.
I ended up leaving without purchasing anything after waiting in line. I hope management can improve both communication and customer service in situations like this.
