  Haven’t been here in many years and our friend mentioned they had a great Tasty beef burger. The burger was fine, no big issues but maybe my expectations were homemade ground beef but it taste like a it was a frozen patty. Another issues was a friend ordered a side of fries which was tasty but it was smaller order than Expected (smaller than my fries that came with my burger) especially for $8.50. The views and service was excellent

  I’ve been in this restaurant years ago and my daughter made reservation for the two of us for Mother’s Day dinner. We had early dinner and went for walk after. It was perfect! Great food not, prompt service, and clean facilities.

  Everyone was so nice to me !!! I change my reservation 3 times due to my flight being delayed. The ladies were awesome . The food was great i couldn’t take to many pictures I was sooo tired . But I will definitely come back again , the view is absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing

  Our first time, 4/28/2026, at Kincaid’s and hopefully not our last. I say hopefully only because we live in FL and we got to experience this restaurant before leaving San Francisco to head back home. We were a party of 5 and everyone raved about the atmosphere, food and mostly the service. Our server Carlos was an absolute gem. I commend him for the friendliness, professionalism and attention he provided during our visit. Carlos was accommodating, patient and pleasant. To Carlos and the manager (my apologies for not recalling his name), for making our evening a memorable experience.

  I've never been to Kincaid's (even though I was born and raised in SF and have been living in San Mateo for the past 15 years) because I assumed it was a chain restaurant with subpar food and cheesy decor. Finally went last week and boy, I was wrong. Upon entering, I was surprised by how modern and open the interior was. Huge windows with views of the bay gave it a romantic ambiance. Seating felt a little snug but it wasn't too loud inside. I started with the crispy calamari and a glass of sauvignon blanc. I thought their wines by the glass prices were very reasonably priced and the calamari, while not that meaty, was tasty. For our mains, I ordered the dungeness crab & shrimp fettucine and it reminded me of SF/North Beach pasta dishes from the past. It's not authentic Italian but still delicious. It was rich and creamy, and very flavorful. Definitely not diet food. I had the chocolate turtle molten cake with vanilla ice cream and it was as decadent as it sounds. Our server, TK, was great too. She apologized because she took a few minutes to greet us after we got seated then checked in on us during each course. It was such a positive experience that we've added Kincaid's to our regular restaurant rotation. Final note: Make reservations at least for weekend dinner. When I called on Friday for same day reservations at 6pm they said they were booked till 7:15pm. I'm glad we took them because when we arrived, we heard a few people try to walk in and they only had bar seating available.
