  Small and quaint this is the perfect place for a quiet meal that is impressively authentic. In a neighborhood crowded with restaurants Toro stands out! Fish is fresh, rice is perfect and the portions are generous.

  Poke was one of the best around the area. Poke was fresh and just the right amount of sauce (other places put way too much sauce for my preference). Sushi was also great and tastes fresh. Menu was very easy to navigate and find what I was craving. Service was great and servers were attentive and friendly. Prices are fair but a little on the middle to high end. Definitely recommend trying it out and will be back to try more things from the menu.

  This is our favorite sushi restaurant, not only because they have our favorite roll, the Yuzu Roll, but because everything we've had is delicious and balanced in flavor, the staff is super friendly, and the attention to detail on the plating and the actual dishes is excellent. Chef Albert is jovial and comes out to chat with guests frequently. The restaurant is right on N San Fernando in Burbank, and they even deliver! Thank you for another great meal, TSPH!

  Absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the yellowtail and ahi tuna nigiri, yellowtail sashimi, spicy tuna roll, and gyoza, and everything was outstanding. The freshness and quality of the fish really stood out. My family is from Hawaii, and I've eaten plenty of incredibly fresh fish there, as well as fish I've caught and prepared myself. The fish at Toro Sushi Poke House was honestly some of the freshest I've ever had—right up there with Hawaii, and even better than quite a few places I've eaten there. The yellowtail and ahi were especially incredible. Everything was prepared perfectly, the flavors were excellent, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in the quality of what they're serving. The staff was also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The excellent service made an already amazing meal that much better. Unfortunately, I was enjoying the food so much that I completely forgot to take a picture before I ate it. So instead, here's a picture of the aftermath. 😂 I think the empty plates speak for themselves. Fantastic food, incredibly fresh fish, excellent service, and a great experience all around. Toro Sushi Poke House absolutely exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be back! Updated review: Second visit, and somehow it was even better than the first. The fish is unbelievably fresh—this time the ahi tasted like it had been swimming minutes before I walked in. The nigiri was beautifully prepared, the prices are fantastic, and the entire staff is genuinely warm and welcoming. I also met the owner’s wife today, and she was wonderful. Incredible food, incredible people, incredible value. Toro Sushi Poke House has officially become my sushi spot. And yes, this time I remembered to take pictures before cleaning my plates!
