  I’m not sure the prices here quite reflect the quality of the food or the service. I ordered six tacos, and it took them about 30 minutes to bring them out. To top it off, the tacos were just okay and a bit cold. If you’re in the mood for some average “authentic” Mexican food, Taco Bell might be a good option and substitute. But if you’re after authentic Mexican food with great service and fair prices, Rudy’s or another place might be a better choice.

  Positives: efficient wait staff. Negatives: prices are outrageous!! Food is a pale imitation of actual Mexican. If you want authentic Mexican for half the price, go to Rudy's across the street.

  Perfect lunch after a long ride to Solvang. There was one in Solvang, however this location was rated high so drove the few miles from Solvang. The staff was extremely kind and accommodated us changing the order. A calm place for lunch.

  Our takeout order was disgusting. Two taco dishes cost $74. The soft tacos were carelessly thrown in a container with refried beans. Both dishes would be accurately described as mush - almost inedible. A large piece of nervy fat for the steak tacos was not a nice touch. Avoid this place.

  Absolutely never again. Okay, we passed on a place down the street (BurritosLalo), because we didn't think they sold beer. We decided to spend more at CA Tacos to have beer with our tacos. They were out of 2 beers that I wanted, and then brought some free chips and salsa that were so flavorless there was no way that we could justify the $24 for two shrimp tacos ($5 each down the street). We paid for our beers, walked over to the other place, enjoyed their food and discovered they had the Modelo we wanted.
