  I live here I've been to every restaurant This is the best burger in town. Better than fire Rock better than Jaspers. I order it on doordash at least once a week

  Delicious authentic BBQ. Got the family pack, tater tots, fish and chips as take out and was so yummy and plenty of food, was really good as leftovers too. Highly recommend this place even for take out.

  Had the CookShack provide food for a party of about 25 guests at our house. We ordered pulled pork, spare ribs and all the fixings (Mac and cheese, cornbread, baked beans, 2 sauces, rolls, etc. ) The food was delicious and plentiful. Just as impressive was the service. It was very easy coordinating with them and selecting the menu items. Delivery was exactly on time. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, accommodating and helpful)Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Garrett!

  this is the best bbq in big bear no questions asked mac n cheese is to die for also the owner and staff are awesome hidden behind the the elks lodge its worth it trust me.

  This bbq is so good! We had a pulled pork sandwich and the pulled pork fries, essentially two different versions of the same thing. The sandwich was good but the fries were fantastic! The fries themselves are very good and very well seasoned and they worked so well with the tasty pork, sweet sauce, coleslaw and pickles. also for the price it was a TON of food. Highly recommend. When you pull up to the Elks Lodge, go to the right, down the side path where the Open flag is hanging.
