When I stepped onto the restaurant floor, my heel fell and I slipped, and I landed on my behind and my right foot landed on the floor when I skit across the floor with my heels and they didn’t do anything about it. No comps of any sort they didn’t do anything

i was really excited to try this place but was heavily disappointed. for starters we didn’t get served until WE had to ask where our server was. people in our section was getting served left and right before us when we were there first and we had a smaller party too. we asked if we could be moved seats but were denied, yet when a white couple had asked they were moved right away. the food was alright as the menu was limited. you can tell the only seasoning they know is garlic. everything was extremely garlicky. i didn’t like how others seemed to be more respected than us. if your like me, i wouldn’t recommend coming here 🤷🏿♂️

We have going to this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. Today was our first time here for lunch and we were not disappointed. My wife and I had the Lunch Box special and the food was delicious and plentiful. I has the clam chowder soup and the salmon pesto pasta option and my wife had the Ceasar salad and the turkey club sandwich. Both were delicious and we took enough home to make for a light dinner.
The seasonal carrot cake desert was enough for the two of us and was delicious. Forgot to take a picture which is a shame as it was beautifully presented.
The view day or night is beautiful.
The only con is getting to it can be a little cumbersome and the parking though monitored can be a little risky. The will store personnel items for you if you do not wish to leave them in the car.

I waited over 10 minutes for the server (ie, Cory) to acknowledge my presence. Cory never came to the table to offer us water or even state she is finishing up with a customer and I will be right there. After that, I went to bar to place my order with Marisa. Marisa was very accommodating and professional. I hate that they pool the tips at this restaurant because Cory should not see a dime of my money. What she does need is some more training on how to interact with customers.

As much as I wanted to love this place because I love Berkeley Marina, I had a poor experience. I took Mom over for the first time, we ordered appetizers just to experience and test the food, vibe, etc. I get mine after about 20 mins and she had to wait atleast 30 after that for her little tacos to arrive. I was done with my bite long ago and we were close to just leaving the restaurant, disappointed as we couldn't even eat at the same time.
In addition, when we were done it took forever to close the tab and pay, overall there was a lot of unnecessary stalling and time wasting, we didn't feel respected.
