I had one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences at Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine. The complete lack of hospitality, basic courtesy, and customer service was honestly shocking.
We arrived around 12:30 on Saturday, April 4. We were a party of four, including my 92-year-old father, who has difficulty with stairs. We politely asked staff if we could use the elevator, and we were completely ignored. My father struggled to make it up to the second-floor entrance and had to sit down and wait while we stood there, unacknowledged.
There were only two small parties ahead of us (a party of two and a party of three). Despite this, we were not greeted, checked in, or even acknowledged for approximately 20 minutes. An employee eventually came out and seated the party of two—still without saying a word to us or the party of three. About 10 minutes later, that same employee returned and seated the party of three.
When it was finally our turn, the employee—who appeared to be acting as host, server, and busser—avoided eye contact, barely engaged with us, and curtly told us there were no tables available. This made no sense, as the restaurant had just opened at 11:30 a.m., and there were clearly several open tables visible.
There was no explanation, no apology, no estimate of a wait time—nothing. Just dismissive, bizarre behavior that left us confused and unwelcome.
This was not just poor service—it was a complete absence of basic human decency, especially toward an elderly guest. We will not be returning. This is not a business I would recommend or choose to support.
