  Benicia Poke Co. is a true gem! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth and friendliness — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel instantly welcome. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxed lunch or a quick bite on the go. I decided to build my own custom poke bowl, and it did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, clearly high quality. The rice was cooked to perfection — not too sticky, not too dry, just right as the base for all the toppings. You can tell Benicia Poke Co. cares about quality and customer experience. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Benicia area craving a delicious, fresh poke bowl!

  Benicia Poke Co is my favorite poke spot! Truly the freshest ingredients every time. My husband and I love the Classic Hawaiian Bowl! Service is always a 10/10...friendly staff and quick service! So happy to have great poke in town!

  I'm really happy Benicia has a poke restaurant, but I've been disappointed by how often it's unexpectedly closed. In the last two months, I've tried to go six times, and it was closed five of those visits with no notice on social media. One of those was a Sunday before I realized they're closed every Sunday. For whatever reason, Sundays are when I crave sushi or poke the most, and I have a feeling I'm not the only one. Benicia could really use a quality sushi or poke spot that's open on Sundays. My other suggestion would be to offer a more traditional Hawaiian poke option. I'd love the ability to order a simple bowl with fresh poke and rice at a lower price instead of having to build a fully loaded bowl every time. Finally, the spicy ahi could use some balancing. Spicy ahi is a classic poke flavor, but at most poke restaurants it's flavorful with a moderate kick. Here, it's so spicy that it overpowers everything else in the bowl. After a few bites, I couldn't really taste the fish or the other items because of the heat. Dialing it back a bit would let the other flavors shine while still giving customers the spice they're looking for. I really want this place to succeed because Benicia needs a great local poke spot. I hope they consider these suggestions—they'd definitely make me visit more often.
