My family and I were in the parking lot because I planned to purchase Happy Meals for my daughter and son. It was my daughter’s birthday, and we were simply trying to enjoy a peaceful family evening.
While looking at my phone, I noticed a female employee standing outside our vehicle and looking inside. Because she was on the driver’s side, I assumed she needed to speak with us for a work-related reason, so I asked my husband to roll down the window. Instead, she immediately asked me what my problem was and whether I had something to say to her.
I was shocked and confused because I had not spoken to, confronted, insulted, or provoked her. Her aggressive and confrontational behavior made my family and me extremely uncomfortable.
She went inside her vehicle which was parked next to ours, where she began mumbling, pointing her phone toward us, and smoking. My children witnessed everything. My 10-year-old daughter, whose birthday we were celebrating, even asked what was wrong with the woman. This was especially upsetting because she should have been enjoying her birthday.
While inside, another employee told me that the employee involved, whom I believe is named Jasmin, had reportedly behaved this way before and that it happens “all the time.” I cannot verify those claims, but I believe management should investigate them.
Shortly afterward, Jasmin approached me inside, stood very close to me, and told me I looked like someone named Bianca. Her tone and demeanor were disrespectful. I am not Bianca, and I should not be treated poorly because I resemble someone else. And apparently there’s another review of an employee doing something similar to another customer. I wonder if that was Jasmin.
Jasmin if you read this know that whatever Bianca did to you, you deserve it.
