Each time I am at this location the person who should bag my groceries walks away and the cashier also acts like they cannot bag my groceries. I end up bagging them myself and today was no exception. I provided my own bags and did ask if it was a Safeway policy to not bag for customers when they provide their own bags and was told no. Customer service doesn’t care. I don’t work for Safeway and was not in a self-check out situation. I deserve to have my groceries bagged for me at the checkout stand, the person in front of me had their purchases bagged for them. I can’t help but wonder if it’s blatant discrimination. If this had only happened once or twice I wouldn’t be raising the issue. This happens EVERY time I go to this location. I have done nothing wrong and feel discriminated against.
