  This is my favorite Disneyland Restaurant. The food is generous and there is a diverse selection. The staff is warm and accommodating. It is also the best place to have intimate encounters with characters in a setting that is calm. Well worth the price tag!

  We went for the breakfast buffet on Sunday, Oct 4, 2026. Our party was 4 adults and 2 kids. The food was okay but because most of us are vegetarians there wasn’t much to eat for the $79 price. I had some a character breakfast in the past and we met about 10 characters and had a ton of interactions. I had the same expectation. We only got to see Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto during our 90 minutes. We were done eating fairly quickly and the kids were getting bored. It was a very expensive meal and not worth it. The servers were amazing and very attentive.

  We have stayed at the hotel 3 times now and every year we have a morning that we go to story tellers cafe for the character experience. Very disappointed this time (very limited experience). Only half of the character's are there in the mornings. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Chip and Dale. All other character's are now at dinner time. There is no longer and interactive experience or congo line that goes through the restraunt with the characters and kids included. Also, as soon as we got our drinks our waitress tells us she is going on break.....who does that? Then we are still expected to give a high dollar tip?? Probably the last time we will come here.....very sad.

  Very disappointing experience. This character breakfast was to celebrate our granddaughters 10th birthday with our whole family, including our 3 year old grandson. Minnie Mouse passed our table three times without stopping. Chip didn't stop at all! Children were sad and angry. Our server was amazing and attentive. The food was great. The primary reason for our visit was so the kids could meet the characters. For the exorbitant cost, I expected a better experience. We all left very disappointed.   This is an experience I definitely recommend taking. It’s so cool how the characters do a little meet and greet with each table. My daughters had a blast. And the food was pretty good for a buffet. I’m used to going buffets being meh but the food was surprisingly good here. And it was so great how my daughters got to interact with each character here. They do like a rotation where the characters split up and go to tables. And then every now and then they’ll do a dance in the middle of the restaurant. We got to be seating in the middle and it’s was a great view for us. They have fruit on the side if your kids are anything like mine and love to eat just fruit. I think I got the brisket or something like that and it was great. A-little dry to me but the flavor was so good. And they also give the birthday kid a little cupcake, and my daughter devoured that thing. I will definitely be trying to bring my family back here one day. My plate had a little bit of a few things but I didn’t get a picture of the plate when I went back for Moore. And here’s a receipt for my family of 4 to give you and estimate of what it’ll cost.
