  Oga’s Cantina is one of those rare Disneyland stops that feels like it was designed as much for the adults as the kids. First off, it was surprisingly quick and easy to get in, which at Disneyland already feels like a minor miracle. Once inside, the place has a fantastic Star Wars dive-bar vibe—dark, loud, weird in all the right ways, with great props and details everywhere you look. And then there’s the important part: adult beverages. After several hours navigating Disneyland with kids, a cold drink at the bar isn’t indulgence. It’s maintenance. Even better, the kids can belly up to the bar with you, which makes the whole thing feel less like adults escaping for a drink and more like the gang just wandered into some questionable watering hole on the edge of the galaxy. The bartenders really sell it, too. They stay in character, joke around, and treat the place like an actual cantina rather than another themed Disney concession stand. Fun, weird, immersive, and there’s booze. Five stars for understanding your audience.

  The drinks were very good, but the problem was that they have an enormous bar area where you have to stand (no seating) and after a long day at Disney, the last thing I wanna do is have to stand at the bar to drink.

  I was really disappointed with our experience at Oga's Cantina. Our server, John (working around 8:00 p.m. on July 24), made what should have been a fun Disney experience feel cold and unwelcoming. From the moment we sat down, he was extremely unpersonable and came across as rude. We asked for recommendations since it was our first time, and instead of helping us or showing any enthusiasm, his responses were short, dry, and made it seem like he didn't want to be there. We felt like we were inconveniencing him just by asking simple questions. Disneyland is known for exceptional customer service and creating magical experiences, but this interaction was the complete opposite. Employees like John make Disneyland look bad because they don't reflect the friendly, welcoming service that guests expect. Oga's Cantina has such a unique atmosphere, and it's unfortunate that his attitude completely overshadowed what should have been a memorable experience. I hope management addresses this so future guests receive the level of service that Disneyland is known for. They should Fire this guy!!!

  Im not writing to complain about not being served alcohol, as I understand Disney has the right to make those decisions. However, I was disappointed with the service we received from our server, John, at Oga’s Cantina. He didn’t answer our questions when we asked for recommendations, made very little effort to interact with our table, and overall seemed uninterested in providing good service. We left feeling unwelcome, which was disappointing because we were looking forward to the experience.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stop at Oga’s Cantina was one of the best parts of our Disneyland adventure, and three Cast Members deserve promotions to Jedi Master immediately. Shayleigh, Edgar, and Shane were phenomenal. Friendly, funny, attentive, and completely immersed in the Batuu experience. They made us feel like VIP smugglers who had just completed the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. They kept the drinks flowing, the laughs coming, and the Force was unquestionably with them. Then… there was Kate. If the Emperor had an HR department, I imagine this is who he’d put in charge of guest relations. While the rest of the crew was running the Rebel Alliance, Kate seemed determined to restore the Galactic Empire one interaction at a time. I’ve met friendlier Imperial customs officers. Stormtroopers hit more of their targets than she hit the mark on customer service. I’m not saying she turned to the Dark Side… but if Darth Vader walked into Oga’s, she’d probably ask him to smile more. Thankfully, Shayleigh, Edgar, and Shane were basically Luke, Han, and Leia combined. They rescued the mission, restored balance to the Force, and reminded us why Disney Cast Members are legendary. Five stars without hesitation—but only because those three heroes prevented Order 66 from being carried out on our evening. May the Force be with Shayleigh, Edgar, and Shane… and may Kate eventually find her way back to the Light Side…or the Sarlacc pit.
