    - pho was alright; nothing special - service was terrible; was not given any water or napkins unless requested (although another table received them immediately) and had to ask for napkins twice before receiving them after 15 minutes or so - seats and table were sticky, as well as the ground which made the experience uncomfortable

It's good if you're looking for quick service and to order everything on the tablets. Food was good service was quick. They dropped off the food and didn't come back until I used the tablet to request them for a to go container.

This is the worst pho I've ever tried. The flavor was weird and didn't taste authentic. The service was terrible. The tables and chairs were very dirty, with trash and leftover food everywhere. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

I only ended up at Mr. Pho because it's directly across the street from Joe's Ice. That's it. That's the origin story. Shout-out to Joe's Ice—an Anaheim institution. I may have mentioned Joe's Ice already... if not, consider this your reminder. Now, back to Mr. Pho. For the three people who might actually read this review: stick with the noodles. It's literally called Mr. Pho. The universe was trying to tell us something. Google (you may or may not have heard of this little startup) describes it as a "sleek Vietnamese joint." Sleek? That's ambitious. I walked in expecting something that sounded like it belonged in an architecture magazine. Instead, it felt like a perfectly ordinary fast-food-style spot that happened to serve pho. Which, to be fair, is completely fine... just maybe don't promise me "sleek." That's like calling my garage "a luxury automotive pavilion." We ordered calamari, spring rolls, rib eye rolls, beef rib pho, an aloe vera passion fruit drink, a ginger basil lemonade, and a Coke. The bill landed around $100 with tip. The service? Admirable. Friendly, attentive, and honestly the highlight of the visit. The food? Edible. The pho? Pretty good. Imagine that—the noodle dish at the noodle restaurant was the winner. Plot twist worthy of an Oscar. The spring rolls and rib eye rolls were (cough) respectable enough. The calamari, however... I'll simply say that somewhere, a squid looked down and said, "Please don't associate me with this." I'll leave it at that. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews because people work hard, and restaurants have off days. So this isn't a scorched-earth campaign. It's more of a gentle nudge from someone who wandered in because of geography. Will there be a next time? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Sure... why not? ...if you're craving pho. In fact, I'd enthusiastically recommend ordering the thing that's literally in the restaurant's name. It's a strategy so crazy it just might work. And afterward? Well... I came because it was across the street from Joe's Ice. I left because it was across the street from Joe's Ice. Some journeys really do come full circle. Have I mentioned Joe's Ice?
