We had the birria grilled cheese. It was good, but I was probably our least favourite bite we had to our visit of both parks. Felt like there could’ve been a little more ‘umph’ to it, maybe more spice or a light sauce on the bread.

    1. The macaron is huge and a bit sweet! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The outside area is huge! 3. There are a lot of tables outside! There are good number covered with umbrella! Note: There are restrooms areas nearby! Photo: Raspberry-Rose Macaron

Is it worth the hype? Honestly, not really. It was good, but nothing exceptional or memorable. That said, it’s still worth trying, especially when you’re hungry! Overall, a decent experience

Our experience at Disneyland had been excellent up until our visit to Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. Every Cast Member we interacted with throughout the park had been friendly, patient, and helpful, which made this particular interaction especially disappointing. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived, and there was no one else waiting in line. Because of this, it was not immediately clear where the walk up ordering line started or which till was the correct one. We entered from the stroller accessible side entrance where the ramp was located, and the mobile order pickup sign was facing the opposite direction, so the distinction between the two areas was not obvious from where we entered. I approached the counter to place a regular order, not realizing I had entered the mobile order pickup area. This was a simple and understandable mistake. Instead of providing basic customer service by explaining the situation and directing us to the correct ordering area, the Cast Member repeatedly told us, "The line starts at the brown line." This was a poor example of guest service. The response did not acknowledge the confusion, did not explain that we were in the mobile order queue, and did not provide clear directions to where we should go. The floor itself was entirely brown, making the instruction even less helpful. With no other guests waiting in line, there was also no apparent reason why a quick explanation or a small amount of assistance could not have been provided. A helpful Cast Member response would have been simple: "This is the mobile order line. The regular ordering line is over at the other till." That would have taken only a few seconds and completely resolved the situation. What made this interaction disappointing was not being corrected. Mistakes happen, especially in an unfamiliar environment. The issue was the lack of patience, friendliness, and willingness to assist. Good customer service is not just about giving the correct answer; it is about how you make a guest feel when they need help. This was the only negative interaction we experienced during our entire Disneyland visit. Every other Cast Member helped create the welcoming atmosphere Disney is known for, but unfortunately this particular interaction fell far below that standard. Perhaps this is not the type of person you should be putting in customer facing positions.
