Been to other Gordon Ramsay locations in Vegas and this is near the top. Food wonderful, Service wonderful, had a reservation and was quickly seated. Bar looks nice as a seond option in the future. Only two issues, Unsweet Iced Tea was watered down (cost $6, ouch), barely taste the tea, Entree items offered mash potatoes, and waitress warned us about us wanting to order a side of potatoes, didn't realize the entrees came with a significant portion of mash potatoes, as the menu does not mention it being part of the entree dish. Lesson learned, for the next time we visit. At least the mash potatoes were great as well. Love the theme and music playing.

2026.07.16 - The Carnaby, and The Opening Week Experience. A bucketlist item of mine, crossed off. Eat at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. In short, the lore is I grew up watching Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares with my parents and grandparents in my early teen years. It felt like watching people cook like their life depended on it, in hopes of proving themselves and receiving praise from Chef Ramsay himself. It influenced my passion and desire to keep challenging myself in cooking and baking. I have been simmering on my experience for a couple of days now, and I still don't know how to explain the flavors of the Beef Wellington. Its savory, salty, and sweet all in one. As seen in the photo, it was cooked picture perfect medium rare. The steak practically melts in your mouth. I was amazed by the dimensional experience in each bite from the steak, pastry, mushrooms, and wine reduction taking turns in the spotlight. The mashed potatoes aren't pictured but they sat behind the wellington, shaped as if it was a whole baked potato. They were buttery, velvety soft, and salted well. Food? 5/5. With whiskey being my drink of choice, I was thrilled to see fun spins on an old fashioned and whiskey sour. Two of my favorite cocktails. I ordered the "Peach and Basil Old Fashioned", while my partner ordered the "Tea and Whiskey". Both delicious! The old fashioned was topped with cotton candy, which was a delightful touch and garnish but was a little too messy to try to drink with. I didn't put it in my drink as I didn't want to overly sweeten it. Drinks? 4/5. The place is gorgeous. I loved the art, the vibrant colors, and the iconic 60s British Invasion rock hits played throughout the restaurant. Atmosphere? 5/5. The service was great overall. While I understand it was opening week and they are still getting into the groove of things, they seemed to truly enjoy what they do and made sure the night was an experience to remember. Service? 5/5. Final verdict - It was one of the most delicious, memorable meals I've had. I highly recommend trying it for yourself!

Pro: New, chic, attentive staff, great drinks, prompt service at the bar. Con: Small place and menu, tis British food, opening cooking quality issues. Came here 3 days after opening. Friendly host greeted me downstairs, got seated upstairs in the indoor after requesting away from the 90 degrees July weather past the dining room. Garrett took my orders and random drinks orders. Here is the breakdown - Sidecar - didn't sugar rim, perfectly chilled and made, great start Wings - blue cheese on the side. mediocre as best, expected more Tea & Whiskey - earl grey tea was not grossly overwhelmed by the bourbon, amazing smell Prime rib - craved bar side on trolley. center cut, med rare, light porcini rub on the outside - delicious, ask for heavy sauce. Prime rib sides - pudding, dry and old. creamed spinach, mixed with artichoke, dry texture. Roasted carrots - cut and dried out. Overall, the sides were a complete disaster. Cherry Baby - citron, elderflower, cherry blossom, dragon fruit - floral drink post meal. Orea Cheesecake - freshly made, in house whip cream. middle of the road. Clarified pineapple margarita - half salt rim, coco cream washed 1530. Outstanding milk wash. On par to what Doberman (Vegas) could produce. Garrett noticed me not finishing my plates and not taking anything to go, I told him I am headed back to the park afterwards and some of the items are not at max potential with some hope what things will get better after the establishment settles down after a few months. This got the GM's attention. Spoke to James, the GM on side. He said I was the first to mention the issues with the prime rib sides, my response of "it's not great for all of the Gordan's location, from London to Macau". He fires back with "the head chef opened Macau and other locations, let me get him". Chef Damien came out, chatted about the menu, it's corporate and they are locked in for a while. Told him to try what the servers took away, I intentionally only ate around one side so the other is undisturbed. The claim of all of the sides were freshly made to open is questionable, look at the pictures to judge for yourself. Upon leaving, spoke to James more about options of more menu items or seasonal fares, that was shut down pretty quick since all changes have to be approved by Disney resort. Ouch. This is it folks. He also mentioned that this is a joint venture from Ramsay's team with Earl team, and there is a reason this is Earl's first British restaurant. Well, he isn't wrong, British food are the one thing to avoid as much as possible. This place is a good starter to the empire's cuisine, but ceiling is extremely low, Gordon Ramsay's places are good, but are never great, this place will get the tourist's money and live on but the name hung outside... but I would recommend skipping the meal and come for the drinks. PS - if you see an older gentleman in a Hawaiian shirt, that's the owner of the Earl empire, Robert Earl. He was around chatting up with the guest.

Dining at The Carnaby in Downtown Disney was an incredible experience from the moment we walked in. The restaurant has a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a special meal or a relaxing evening after spending time in the parks. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home throughout the entire visit. One of the highlights of the evening was the Beef Wellington, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The beef was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. The flaky, golden pastry paired beautifully with the rich filling, creating a dish that was both comforting and elegant. Every bite was delicious, and it was easy to see why it’s one of the restaurant’s standout menu items. Overall, The Carnaby exceeded our expectations with its outstanding food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. If you’re visiting Downtown Disney and looking for a memorable dining experience, this is definitely a restaurant worth checking out. We’ll absolutely be back to explore more of the menu, but the Beef Wellington will be hard to pass up on our next visit!

Although we haven't had the chance to try the food yet, the anticipation for the grand opening of Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is massive. Located right above the new Earl of Sandwich, the restaurant's 1960s London "British Invasion" theme brings a fresh, vibrant, and sophisticated energy to the area. Locals and park-goers are counting the days to taste Chef Ramsay’s legendary dishes, like his famous Beef Wellington, crispy fish and chips, and the decadent sticky toffee pudding. With the promise of live music and great cocktails, it’s shaping up to be the perfect spot to unwind after a long day at the parks. We are absolutely ready for this grand opening and can't wait to step inside to experience it for ourselves. It will definitely be the new hotspot in Anaheim! Congrats Gordon! I hope to meet you in person in the figure to say it personally! All the best!
