    Experience was good but whyyyy ask if we’re celebrating something (in our case, my mom’s birthday) if you no longer offer complimentary desserts? I used to love that magical little offering. The best the server could offer was a dollop of whipped cream with a candle so we could sing happy bday. Service from staff is always great, just too bad to see Disney cutting corners in those small ways that guests appreciate. Especially when we’re spending 100s of $ and making the Rez 60 days in advance.

    Very overpriced and very overrated for some very very over cooked prime rib. Asked for medium and it was very well done and tough to cut and eat, it wasn't even enjoyable. The crab cakes and gumbo we're really good though. Went for the experience, but for sure wouldn't recommend or go back again since there are much better and cheaper options around the whole park. This may be why they keep it so dark in there so you can't see how jacked up your food really is lol.

    VERY DISAPPOINTED - My family was so excited to celebrate my wife's birthday at Blue Bayou as we had never been there before. However, both the food & the service were not just substandard, but absolutely inferior. My wife got a ribeye steak that was about 80% pure fat - yes, I realized that a ribeye has marbling, but this was pure fat; there's absolutely no way that the chef who cooked it wouldn't have noticed the extremely high fat content. I waited to talk to our waiter for roughly 15 minutes and never found him so I eventually asked a busboy to get me the manager. The manager offered a bunch of vague platitudes but no real solutions. I let it go and moved on with our meal, but when they served us dessert in a to go container (I had asked for the bill, but said nothing about taking dessert to go - the waiter just wasn't even paying attention to what we said) and they hadn't even cleared our table for 20 minutes so that we could enjoy dessert, I went back to the manager. He said that he was going to make some 'corrections'to the bill, but when the bill came it was exactly the same with no acknowledgment of the poor quality of the food or the service issues we'd experienced. If I'm going to spend $300 on a meal, I expect high quality food and superior service, neither of which did I receive. Considering this is supposed to be one of Disney's premiere establishments, it just emphasizes how much the quality at Disneyland has gone down recently.

    Got the anniversary meal, the ribeye and prawns prix fixe. I also got the signature peach cocktail. It began with a tasty salad. The ribeye itself was delicious, quality beef. I trimmed off a good bit of fat but that's expected. It had some weird spiced butter that was just okay. The potato was good, the asparagus perfect. The prawns? Not so good, they were large, but plain (could've used something) and VERY salty. The chocolate-pistachio cheesecake sounded delicious, but I left a good portion of it on the plate, meh. The atmosphere is great, as everyone knows, aside from the loud children, but hey, it's Disneyland. My waitress was SUPER attentive, excellent job. Overall, it was a great meal. Was it worth $117 before tip? That depends on your point of view. I enjoyed it very much and would eat there again.

    When we paid the bill, the server lost our credit card. Neither the server nor the restaurant manager seem to care that the credit card went missing. They claim to look for it but we did not see them actively looking for the card. Only through our insistence was the card found. They just cared about turning the table, but we stayed there for 40 minutes until the card was found laying on the ground nowhere near our table. They just wanted us to move on and said if they found the card they would send it to lost and found and we should call and get the card canceled. When a credit card is hooked to many monthly services and accounts, it's not that easy to cancel a card and get another number. And it should not be due to their carelessness. The lack of concern was unbelievable. They imply that it was our fault that the card got lost and then tried to claim we never gave it to the server, but a quick look at the bill proved that the server did scan the card and charge the meal to the card. They did not apologize for losing the card nor did they really care if they found it or not. I don't recommend this restaurant if you want good service and if you want your credit card returned to you after paying the bill. The lack of care, the lack of taking responsibility for losing the card and then saying it was our fault the card was lost. I can't believe that Disney employs this kind of staff . Not only was the server totally oblivious to our problem and went on serving other people and ignoring us, but the manager of the restaurant also didn't care.
