  Chicken is always dried up for that reason i go to other locations.employees are friendly, it seemed clean inside..however whom ever is cooking the chicken its just dry as a brick..e times coming here now..dissapointing to say the least.

  So before I get into the review there's some context you need to know. I was staying at the hotel nearby and I didn't have a vehicle since it was at Disneyland and I did not go. Ok review time! I strolled over to nearby target, made a purchase, and strolled to El pollo loco. I placed my order at a kiosk there, 4pc spicy loco tenders and a large Mac and cheese (personal favorite). I waiting and my order was called up and I got up to receive it. When I got it an employee told me they ran out of Mac and cheese and asked if I wanted a refund, I said yes please and they started the process. During the process they said they were getting some more from another store in about 20 minutes if I wanted to wait, no since I had no where else to pretty much go and all the time in the world at this point (and I really wanted some Mac and cheese) I said yes I can wait. They were so nice about it and gave me a free large soda for my wait. So I waited about 20 minutes and during that time they told me that they got the Mac and cheese and are cooking it up for me so it should be ready in a bit. I decided to get 1 last refill on my soda and stand and wait for my food. They gave me the food and mentioned they left something in the bag for me, I didn't hear everything they told me so I just said thanks with a smile and left to stroll back to the hotel. When I got back I unraveled my food and discovered they gave me 2 churros and an extra 3pc spicy loco tenders. I am so grateful for the extra food and it absolutely made my day. They were super nice and understanding, I will absolutely be going back and happy I get to leave this glowing review! (Also for those people who care about savings I spent about $20 and got about $20 in free food)

  Come on. I'm a El Pollo Loco fanatic. I eat it at least once a week and I really enjoy it every time. I asked for 6 salsas no green sauce and the dressing for salad. Nothing is here. Look at the chips in the photo. You gave me garbage to eat. It was a very simple order. Never had it messed up anywhere else. I paid for the disappointment. Please pay attention to your customers, specially to your loyal ones over 25 years.

  Have been here multiple times. Have received the wrong order a couple of times. I like the marinated chicken bowl but I personally am not a fan of any charred, blackened pieces.

  This Pollo loco is # 1. This is our official Pollo Loco Company Restaurant for Himbler Investments LLC,even though it is not in Long Beach. I have made this decision because of the Manager and his professional training, Courtesy, and because I found My Sober living joyful Solutions Mr. Kevin Washington's younger Son, coaching a Pollo employee.
