Great pho in a small mountain town that had no introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. All their other items and appetizers really hit the mark as well and satisfies you while leaving craving more. They also deliver which is just an added bonus

I've been to Alpine Pho & Grill five times since they opened, and every single visit has been outstanding. It's honestly refreshing to finally have an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Alpine. The quality has been consistently excellent, the broth is rich and flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and you can tell the owners genuinely care about what they're serving. What has impressed me just as much as the food is the service. I've watched plenty of first-time customers walk in having no idea what Vietnamese cuisine or pho even is, and the staff patiently explains the menu, offers recommendations, and makes everyone feel welcome. That's exactly the kind of business our community should be supporting. It's disappointing to see some of the negative reviews from people who seem to expect something completely different, or who mistake this for a Chinese restaurant. Pho is its own style of cuisine with its own traditions, flavors, and preparation. If you're unfamiliar with Vietnamese food, I'd encourage you to keep an open mind before leaving a negative review based simply on your expectations rather than the quality of the food. As someone who's eaten pho all over Southern California and has reviewed dozens of pho restaurants, I can honestly say Alpine Pho & Grill is doing an incredible job. The owners have clearly put a lot of love, pride, and hard work into this place, and it shows in every bowl they serve. If you love authentic pho—or you've been wanting to try it for the first time—this place deserves your business. Alpine is lucky to have them, and I hope they're here for many years to come.

I gave this place a second chance, and unfortunately it was even worse than the first visit. The first time I came with my family, they were not happy because the pho was served cold. They had ordered rare steak pho, but the broth wasn't hot enough to cook the meat properly. After that experience, they said they would never come back. I returned on the last day of school with some friends and figured I'd order the one thing they couldn't mess up: egg rolls and Thai tea. The egg rolls and Thai tea came out great, and I was satisfied. Then came the worst part of the experience. When it was time to pay, our server insisted that I had ordered pho and claimed she remembered my order because she has a great memory. I didn't want to argue with her since there was a line forming behind me, so I ended up paying $18 instead of the $10 I actually owed. That extra $8 may not seem like much to some people, but for a broke high school student, that's my gas money for next week. Sadly, they won't be seeing my Asian behind ever again. Two thumbs down.

2 keer hier gegeten - eten was beide keren heerlijk!
