- SWShirley WeissJul 18, 20261.0I honestly try to avoid this store because of how bad the customer service is. There are a couple of cashiers that are always rude but one in particular really stands out. She was sitting on a chair at the checkout with an AirPod in one ear and her phone in her hand texting or doing whatever she was doing while slowly scanning my groceries with her other hand. She didn’t acknowledged me once it honestly felt like I was bothering her just by checking out. I go out of my way to shop somewhere else whenever I can because every visit is the same experience. I’ve tried asking to speak to a manager but every single time it’s someone different claiming they’re the manager. After a while I just gave up because nothing ever changes. I really don’t understand how this kind of behavior is still acceptable. Customers deserve basic respect and management seriously needs to do something about what’s going on in this store.

With so many bad reviews I will not be surprise if one of these days Safeway in Albany closes its doors. It’s a paint to go to that store and deal with the rude unhelpful employees.
