  This review is not based on the store it's based on the Chinese chatzky they have in store. I was waiting and the gentleman came out I believe was the shot and I asked if I could get some help and he kind of snubbed me and pointed at the lady like I was not even there no just a moment let me get someone to help you it was very rude just so you know sir cook

  Horrible experience with a Safeway employee delivery shopper. Worst customer service and very rude.

  This has been the best Safeway to go to since moving to the area four years ago. The produce and other products are top quality due to the bias of being in such a wealthy area with no competition around. However the staff there are horrible with the exception of two associates who always look like they’re making the best out of everyday. Today was the tipping point when an associate who was probably the manager approached the self checkout and tried to speak to me like I am one of her staff. I usually only get a few items so self checkout is my go to but this time we needed a few more items for an even and was not aware of the 15 item limit. She used phrases like”you should know” and “moving forward you will”. That may fly with the associates who report to her but I don’t get paid to have to put up with her sense of superiority. If it wasn’t for the quality of the stock at this store I can definitely see myself and other locals traveling elsewhere when the personalities of the associates and the sanitation of the store is on a gradual but steady downward trajectory. After seeing the other one star reviews it could also be potentially racially motivated this experience felt a lot like what the others are saying hate that I am not the only one, but clearly this is an ongoing issue for others.

  Whenever I come into this store, the employees are so helpful. It does not matter which department I am in, and if I cannot find an item, they will walk me over to the merchandise. I have shopped at Safeway for 50+ years, and this is by far the most consistently great customer service I have experienced. I will go out of my way to come to this store!

  I bought a slice of cake for my biryhday and 15 minuts after eating it, I was doubled over in pain. I have had food poisoning before and knew immediately what it was. That was 48 hours ago and I am still very sick. What a teerible way to spend my birthday. I called the store and the person I talked to just said oh OK. Then didnt say anything else. Im surprised the workers dont make a report of food poisoning so other people dont get sick. I was stunned by the attitude.
