- GIGreg Ivory1 day ago1.0I have never been to any Safeway stores as bad as the ones here in Alameda. I had to wait in a line of 12 people for one cashier to check everyone out because the self checkout didn't take cash. Unreal.
- NNNoel3 days ago5.0Everything is pleasant except for one cashier that seems to work in between self-checkout and cashier at night I don't recall her name but always seems to have an attitude if you need help at self-checkout and it's been more than once where she has her certain people that she helps if I ask for help she comes over with an attitude does not communicate with me that's the only person I will get her name other than that the whole store amazing Mark is amazing everyone else in there is amazing

The deli department has a shortage of staff so expect to wait. It has been like that for a while. It's much busier on Friday's when they have the fried chicken specials, same as South Shore on the other side of town. This store is usually clean and well organized. Would come back whenever I'm in the area.

I was not greeted but told 20 mins before they could service me. I waited 10 mins watching the workers talk and laugh in there language. Zero stars this place is literally one block away from my office and I'll never return. Poor customer service, lack of consideration people usually start work around 8am right? I called the customer service line and was put on hold so they could check when they open?... Must be nice to work on the clock and not work- I plan on escalating this as other customers complained. We cant make changes if no one says anything. What i can say is i definitely do my job on company time. Smh
