  Absolute worst store in this area. Never do they have more than 2 cashiers working. Lines stretch into aisles while “management” just watches. In line today and the checker is asking for help on the phone apparently calling the manager(?). That was a waste of time as no help arrived. The deli counter manager will literally look though you and ignore you, moldy bread, and here is the best one, go to the cheese/hot dog aisle and look at all the brown spoiled meat in the packages. This was a decent store but not anymore. Employees are miserable and quite frankly should quit if it’s that bad as there is no point in being this unhappy in a job.

  Updating this review to reiterate how much I really hate this store and the employees. None of them know any of the companies policies and make stuff up on the spot since they have no freaking clue what they’re doing. It’s honestly laughable. They need new management and how to train their incompetent employees. It is honestly insane that working at a grocery store is so over these peoples heads?!?!? I have to say that the Vons employees seem real chipper to be nice to their regulars, but I just moved here a week ago and the employees have been incredibly rude to me. I clipped a coupon while in the store and it didn’t ring up when I checked out. The employee blamed me for clipping the coupon too late. What do you mean too late? I clipped it before I checked out. It’s not my fault that the system is slow. She was quick to be derogatory and give me a lot of attitude for something that was quite literally out of my control. She said next time you need to show me the coupon. Apparently you have to show all the coupons that you clip before you check out. Clearly she was just trying to blame me for a system error and I didn’t appreciate that. There are no self checkout aisles and hardly any employees to ring you up so there are always lines. I’d rather take my business to the Ralphs across the street. Maybe if they were more friendly I’d be more willing to wait in the lines to deal with them.

  5+ years shopping at this location, and this was by far my worst experience. On a previous visit, a cashier named Kim opened a new lane and chose to serve other customers ahead of me. I let it go at the time. This past Saturday, while I was in line to purchase beer, two customers ahead of me completed similar purchases without issue. Immediately after, Kim — who was not the cashier handling my transaction — intervened and instructed the cashier to check my ID. To be clear, I have no issue with ID checks when applied consistently. What raised concern was the inconsistency, as the customers ahead of me were not treated the same way, and no clear explanation was provided. I calmly asked for clarification, but the interaction did not lead to a clear or professional response, so I chose to leave without completing my purchase. I later returned to identify the employee for the purpose of filing a formal complaint, and she declined to provide her name when asked. I am sharing this because consistent policy enforcement and professional communication are essential for customer trust. I hope this situation is reviewed and addressed appropriately.
