Our owner is a trained and certified pizzaiolo from the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli out of Naples, Italy, the oldest pizza school in the world. He earned his certification in their "pizza classica" course. The class wasn't taught on how to properly assemble a pizza, how to operate ovens, or how to throw pizza dough in the air.

Went with our family of 8 and was so glad we did. We were seated right away and service was great from start to finish. Looked at a bunch of recommendations for the area and everyone said how much they loved West By God. We ordered the wings (half buffalo half garlic parm), Pizza Party, The Ranchy Coop and the Spicy Coop.
This was perfect for our group of 8. My favorite was the ranchy coop. They also had axe throwing and a beer wall with plenty of options.

I’ve wanted to try this place for awhile. Finally
had an opportunity and let me say, an experience it was. Initially, our group was greeted nicely. I showed the host a “special” of $10 per person for 30 min of axe throwing. The man behind the counter made it sound like their advertisers should have removed it months ago, although he did not decline the offer. (Pic attached-even with the date in the ad). Next we were escorted to the axe throwing area, given instructions, & they took our drink order. We received our drinks quickly, but were looking at the menu & our server was supposed to come back. He never did. The restaurant was getting really busy and it appeared they had just 2 servers. My family member had to go up to the takeout area and ask if we could order a pizza-they said it would take 45min-1 hour. We had 10 minutes left of our 30 minute game so that was not an option. We declined. To top off our bad experience, my family member went to pay, they charged us for 60 minutes of play.
The system is setup poorly, the game starts when you click on the timer, which shows 30 minutes but I guess the idle time is part of the 60 minutes. Could not comment on the food, they didn’t have time to take our order. My family member even left a good tip, he is just too nice to do anything but that. Unfortunately, I wasn’t at the register when he paid, or I would have asked for much more explanation of the charges. Lesson learned by our personal experience. Never again.

The server did a terrible job waiting our table.
Sat us down to do the axe throwing and then proceeded to not take our order avoiding us for 35 minutes because we said we weren’t ready to order the food yet. Meanwhile he was scrambling around 4 other tables taking everyone else’s orders. So we went up to the counter and they told us it would be 45 minutes to a hour for a pizza now.
We came in for the 30 minute axe throwing coupon that’s $10 each person and they charged us for a hour.
Didn’t get food and got charged extra for nothing.
Absolutely horrible experience, only good thing that happened while we were there was the guy singing on stage.

Not sure what was going on the evening we went but they seemed to be short staffed and their air conditioning didn’t seem to be working. It was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside. It took forever to get our drinks refilled and it seemed like our initial waiter was doing a little bit of everything besides waiting tables. We ordered 3 pizzas and some appetizers for our party and they came out fairly quickly but it took about 30 minutes before we got the last two pizzas. The pizzas were just okay and definitely not as good as the last time we were there. It’s very doubtful we’ll be back.

Well we went for the food and it was disappointing.
The beer offerings were great and axe throwing looked like alot of fun. Before seeing our carryout order, I told my wife I would love to come do the axe throwing next time. But... we will not be eating there.
The pizza: an 1863 with extra cheese... a $30+ pie... very little sausage, extra cheese? Crust was okay. But sad pizza overall.
The wings: bone-in with Nashville hot honey. I make crispier wings at home. Taking them home to finish in the oven.
