  We were a little shocked at the prices considering it's further from Vancouver. You can get similar quality ayce sushi for 21.99 and Ninkazu and 24.99 at Kisha Poppo. This place is $25.99 for lunch. Their tempura was nicely battered and came hot. I like that their chicken karage is chicken wings. Their sushi is overly pressed where it looks like a good rice to fish ratio but when you bite in, you'll know that it is a dense slab of rice. Their cones also had way too much rice. I was surprised to see sashimi with a limit of 4 pieces per person but it came as tiny cubes. The gyoza filling was minimal - almost like biting into a pocket of air. Miso soup didnt have much dashi seasoning. For 25.99, I expected a little better quality. Fortunately if you pay in cash, it is 10% off.

  Would give 0stars if it was an option. Service was awful didn't receive half the food we ordered. Had to keep requesting what we put on the order sheet. Waters barley got filled. Food was disgustingly greasy. Have never waited so long at an all you can eat sushi. All the ice cream is pre scooped so it's freezer burnt. The one server needs a new job she looks and talks like she absolutely hates her life. Took over 10 minutes for someone even to come up to us at the front when it was not busy AT ALL

  Haven't been here in a while because of how bad the food had gotten . We were shopping right there so thought we'd try it again . What a terrible idea , the food that wasn't covered in a sickly sweet sauce was pretty much tasteless or maybe it was that it all tasted exactly the same. This is very far from true Japanese food . The only good thing about the restaurant today was our waitress who was excellent , very attentive , very talkative , very friendly . She gets five stars , the chef I'm very hard-pressed to even give him one star .

  We ate all you can eat and i have a 5 year old with me. She only eats the chicken karage and on the first order i wrote 10 on the paper and they gave 3 small pcs so i ordered again and it took 20minutes and they only gave 1 small pc. When i ask the server she is not answering my question and seem to be not aware on what our orders are. My daughter only ate 4pcs of chicken karage and miso soup and its not even busy as there are not much people eating. I paid $16.95 and my kid went home half full. And all food are extra salty today.

  We did AYCE and were there for 2.5 hours. After 1 hour we finally had received our teriyaki and tempura, 2.5 hours and a second order sheet later we still hadn’t received all our food. It wasn’t even that big of an order! Slowest service EVER even though it wasn’t that busy. One couple walked out without paying. 3 other tables were complaining. Absolutely unacceptable. Hubby threw up all night, my son and I the morning after. Won’t EVER go back. Not sure what happened, but 2 months ago we had a great experience. So disappointing…. I’ve never given a 1 star review, ever.
