- BDBarbara DixonDec 23, 20255.0I have been a TurboTax user for decades. Recently I received a letter from the IRS stating that I owed back taxes when I actually though I was getting a huge refund. I reached out to TurboTax and was assisted by Matt Fisher. Matt politely listened to my issue and requested several documents to review to determine the root cause for the difference. We were able to determine the root cause was the amount of estimated taxes and the prior year overpayment line (1040 line 26) being incorrect. Unfortunately, I did owe back taxes, but it was great to have someone such as Matt patiently work with me to determine how the error occurred, so it won't be repeated in the future. If I could give 10 stars I would as Matt definitely deserves them.
