- JJJacobJun 30, 20261.0God's revelation of the Mormon religion through scripture: Isaiah 29:13 "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made only of rules taught by men." (They purposely sandwich this verse out and use the verses surrounding it to support their book.) I was 20 yrs old, didn't know the bible, and was torn on what to believe when I talked and prayed with missionaries, I asked God and this verse is what I audibly heard given by God. I opened my heart to recieve correction from God and others and this was only further verified through scripture and people in leadership in Gods church that were submitted to the true word of God. The book of mormon is not God's scriptures.
