For those who are not members of this church, it is still a great place to find peace and be welcomed by loving people and a fascinating culture of love and kindness.
- AGAppolo GeticksAug 16, 20152.0The reason I chose two stars and "disliked" it is because I am not LDS and I believe the LDS doctrines are incorrect. In actuality, as a religious organization and charitable organization, the LDS church is very good. They have a lot of community programs that help members and non members alike, and living in Rexburg as I have for over 8 years, and being an evangelical Christian, I have to say the LDS people beat most evangelicals in hospitality and love in general. You won't find a more helpful, caring group of people anywhere. As far as the church as a force for Jesus, respectfully, I must disagree. The LDS church has many doctrines in it which either add to the Bible's doctrines in a way that is obviously not in keeping with the theme of the Bible, or that contradict the Bible outright. I would not suggest this church to anyone seeking truth. For truth, simply go to God's word. My hope and prayer for the LDS church and its people is that they look to Jesus as all authoritative, and not to man. The LDS church is a nice organization, but not preaching the true, eternal gospel, in my OPINION.
