  We’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences shopping here! We’ve purchased homecoming dresses in the past and recently found the perfect dress for our daughter’s Sweet 16. Highly recommend this shop for any special occasion!

  A friend tried on some dresses here and ending up finding the one!! Thanks to the help of Paige! She was so kind and so so helpful! Not rushed at all and helped with any questions we had! She was amazing!!

  The staff were super kind and helped us find the style of dresses needed and they have a super wide variety of dresses and sizes! Highly recommend, it was a great experience.

  I am sharing our experience to warn the community—especially families of color—about the unacceptable treatment my daughter faced at Downtown Bridal & Dress Shop. My daughter, a woman of color who wears a normal size 10, went into the shop to look for a wedding dress. The worker asked her if she needed an undergarment to try on a dress, and my daughter requested to see a mermaid-fit style. The owner brought out a red mermaid dress that was far too small for her. Instead of assisting her professionally with a proper size, the owner told my daughter she was fat and stated that she did not have time for her. She then falsely claimed that to even try on a dress, my daughter needed to make an appointment and place a financial deposit down first. To be body-shamed, denied proper service, lied to about store policies, and rushed out of a business by the owner herself is disgusting and deeply hurtful. A bride trying on wedding gowns deserves to feel celebrated and respected, regardless of her race or build. I urge other local families to take their business elsewhere to shops that treat all human beings with basic dignity.

  I’ve gotten dresses at this location for years. Under this new owner, I the shop is much brighter with so many dresses to choose from I was able to find just what I was looking for. They were also extremely nice and very helpful with any of my needs. I definitely recommend coming here.
