I wanted to follow up on the response I received.
I've been attending church for 31 years. When I joined the French Foreign Legion, I passed out on the lawn of the LDS Church in Etoille, France, the closest building to the Marseilles Airport.
I'm not a Theologian but I've been studying Theology for 15 years.
It hurts because when I, or others, are treated poorly over literally nothing at all, it confirms what the naysayers have been saying for years.
Christopher Hitchens, famous author of "God is not Great", once stated that Christians proclaim to believe in Heaven and an eternal God, but act as if this world is all we've got.
This isn't about one evening at a farmer's market. It's that how can someone claim to believe in eternity while acting so superficial as not even believe in the consequences of tomorrow, let alone that we will still exist 1,000,000,000,000 years from now.
I believe that the monk at a monastery in rural France who has meditated on God for 25 years for 12 hours a day believes in eternity. It's hard to believe that 26 year olds in Boise Idaho acting like snotty teenagers actually have pondered what eternity means, or actually fear an all-powerful God.

I encountered some members of this ward at Downtown's Grove Plaza on a sunny Saturday morning. I greeted those members in which I had once attended church with, but then noticed that some of their friends and fellow church members were carrying the spirit of the adversary with them.
This spirit was so strong that it took two weeks for me to shake it. As a great grandson of David Peery, a former leader of the LDS Church, I have witnessed this Devilish spirit attack many members of my family. It's a spirit of hate and disgust and agony and decay and contention.
I've spent the last year seeing how it's affected my family in Utah, only to see it in young members from Idaho who have nothing to gain from being an enemy of Christ.
As someone who's preparing to assist the Army in Ukraine and who served in the Army in America, I truly don't understand why young members with nothing to gain would carry such a destructive spirit with them. It destroys everything - family, careers, and mental health.
I've sat at the East Gare station of Rue La Fayette in Paris France when homeless people and drug dealers would witness the spirit of God in me and would come to me for help shaking off their evil spirits. I don't know why people in a safe and quiet city like Boise would embrace such a darkness that they don't understand. I hope they realize that hatred of God's children is something that will destroy them.
