  It's always a pleasure to visit with our patients at Manor Lake. The staff is always helpful and courteous - beautiful atmosphere!

  I live in Colorado and my dad is a resident here at Manor Lake with four of my sisters living close to him. I really can't fully express what a wonderful place this is for our dad. It isn't the beauty of the building, the convenience and privacy of the rooms, and the open gathering spaces for family- all of those things are wonderful and appreciated. What is special about this place is the beauty of the people serving your loved one every morning, every day, and every night, and in the middle of the night when they may need some help. There are so many kindnesses happening minute by minute, by the staff that work here. These people are the angels that walk among us in our lives, and they are serving my dad and so many others and caring for them. Thank you Bre, Aeria, Cayla, Jimmy, Addie, Sergine, Jessica and so many, many countless others who give their time and energy, often when they are tired or at the end of day, to help these residents with their hearts and hands! Many who I can't call out by name, who call my dad "honey", "Mr Charles", "Mr Chuck", "Mr Morris" and "love" - with such care and respect - thank you so so much, you will be in my prayers! You are so appreciated!

  Our family has been very grateful for the care my mother has received at Manor Lake Hickory Flat. Having a loved one in assisted living is never easy, but the staff here has brought us a great deal of comfort and peace of mind. Bre Carlson deserves special recognition for the incredible leadership, compassion, and professionalism she brings every single day. She manages an extremely demanding role with patience, kindness, and genuine care for the residents and families. It is clear how deeply she cares, and her presence has made a tremendous difference in my mother’s quality of life and in our confidence as a family. Caregivers like Jennifer and Sarah treat my mother with such warmth, dignity, and affection you would think they were caring for their own. Their kindness never goes unnoticed. As a Med Tech, Ericka, has also been outstanding — dependable, caring, and always willing to help. The people caring for residents are what truly define a community, and we are very thankful for this team.

  Manor Lake Assisted Living has been a true blessing for my grandmother during her time there. One of the main reasons we feel so confident and grateful is because of Bre Carlson. She is an incredibly caring, attentive, and competent nurse who goes above and beyond every day. She is always responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in my grandmother's well-being. Her role is incredibly demanding, yet she consistently rises to the occasion with grace and excellence. We cannot recommend Manor Lake highly enough. It is a wonderful place largely because of dedicated staff like Bre. She deserves the highest praise for the outstanding support she provides to both residents and their families.
