  Our 13 year old lab had been slowly failing over the past year while we were also having trouble finding a vet that we connected with. Unfortunately, he experienced a rapid decline over a weekend. He went from his normal baseline to not being able to stand or eat alongside new incontinence. We knew this would be a euthanasia case and we tried to keep him home and comfortable as long as we could. We saw a company called Soothing Streams online and they referred us to Modern Vet, 30 minutes after an online inquiry on a Sunday! On Monday, they made time to see Toby which we were so appreciative for as we were trying to avoid the corporate owned pet hospitals. Not having known us or Toby, Modern Vet gave us the experience we lacked in vets for many years. They gave Toby a comfortable, dignified passing and they gave us a peaceful space to reassure him as he transitioned. Additionally, they honored his memory in a donation. We are so grateful for Modern Vet and Soothing Streams.

  Losing my dog, Nala, was one of the hardest moments of my life. As a veterinarian, I have worked with countless pet aftercare companies over the years. Soothing Streams is hands down the best experience I have ever had. Ron and Petra are incredibly compassionate, kind, and understanding. They walked me through exactly what to expect and gave me complete confidence that my baby was in the best hands possible. Nobody enjoys losing a pet, but I cannot thank Soothing Streams enough for making such a difficult time as easy, respectful, and peaceful as possible. The icing on the cake is that they are locally owned right here in our community. There is no one I trust more with a family's beloved pet. Trust me, I have seen them all.

  Losing our dog was one of the hardest things our family has been through, and Ron and his team made an unbearable decision feel as gentle as it possibly could. Having a vet come to our home meant our dog could pass peacefully in the place he felt safest, surrounded by the people who loved him, instead of a sterile clinic room. After the aquamation, they returned his ashes along with stamped paw prints, nose prints, a clay paw print, and some of his hair; keepsakes we didn't even know to ask for but are now so grateful to have. Every part of the process was handled with so much care and compassion. I can't recommend Soothing Streams enough to anyone facing this kind of loss. They brought our family real peace during an incredibly painful time.

  Georgia was not just our pet; she was part of our family, our loyal companion, and a source of immense love throughout many years. Her sweetness, her companionship, and the unconditional love she gave us left a mark on our hearts that can never be erased. Those who deeply love their pets understand the enormous emptiness their loss leaves behind. That is why we want to sincerely thank Soothing Streams Pet Services, and especially Mr. Ron, for the compassion, respect, and kindness with which they guided us through the farewell of our beloved Georgia. The aquamation process was handled with such dignity and care, bringing us peace during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Knowing that Georgia was in the hands of people who truly love and respect animals meant so much to us. Thank you for helping us give such a loving, peaceful, and respectful goodbye to a dog who was so incredibly special to our family. We will never forget your humanity and the care with which you handled every part of the process.
