We have been extremely pleased with the care and attention my mother has gotten at Glenncrest. The place is clean, staff is friendly and she enjoys the food.Jordan has done a tremendous job over the past 2 years keeping up a constant stream of activities and outings
that mom loves. We would definitely recommend Glenncrest as a good option for

We had the pleasure of having Sylvia Senteza as our family member’s nurse. Sylvia was amazing. She was caring, attentive and patient during our visit. We felt comfortable asking Sylvia questions about the care our aunt was receiving. She was professional, polite and overall an amazing nurse. Thank you Sylvia for taking great care of our aunt.
Sylvia Senteza has been an invaluable part of our family's healthcare journey. As an LPN, she has always provided thoughtful guidance during illnesses such as the flu, recommended appropriate over-the-counter medications, and offered practical advice on nutrition, exercise, and healthy living. She is incredibly patient and kind, always willing to answer our many questions with compassion.
I have no doubt she is providing the same exceptional care to the residents at Glenncrest at Johns Creek. Sylvia, thank you for all that you do. We wish you continued success and nothing but the very best!

This senior living community is absolutely beautiful! The building is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and comfortable environment for residents and visitors.
What truly makes this community stand out is the incredible staff. Everyone is kind, compassionate, professional, and genuinely cares about the residents' well-being. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with friendly smiles and a positive atmosphere.
If you're looking for a senior living community that combines a beautiful setting with exceptional care and dedicated staff, I highly recommend this community!
Our family has experienced two serious medication-related incidents involving this facility.
When Sunrise was operating the facility, medication was ordered and administered without the Healthcare POA's knowledge or permission. The state investigated the matter and cited the facility for violations. Despite that prior state investigation and corrective action, similar issues occurred again recently and another state complaint has recently been filed.
Although the facility has since changed ownership to Glenncrest, much of the same medical staff remains, which is the common denominator. A change in the name on the building means little.
Equally concerning is the complete lack of a clear chain of command for families trying to escalate serious issues. There is no transparent leadership structure—only generic email addresses that go unanswered and phone numbers that require leaving voicemails that are not returned and the Executive Director on staff at the facility is shielded by the receptionist from taking calls. The lack of transparency in communicating medications that are administered remains the same.
Clothing has repeatedly gone missing, and laundry is rarely done despite it being part of the exhorbitant monthly charges. Residents also appear to be able to wander into one another's rooms because there are no locks on the outside of room doors.
The memory care floor also raises serious safety concerns. A code is required to exit the floor, and there are only two elevators available. Family members have often been left waiting for staff to let them off the floor and have also been stranded on the 1rst floor and unable to get to the memory floor when returning with a resident in the evening.
Based on our experience, I do not recommend this facility. Sedation tpye medications are being ordered and administered without proper communication with the POA and appropriate care for residents' well-being is being neglected.
I advise to request the medical records, if you have a family member who is a resident of this place.
Added 7-2-26:
Since Glencrest took over, Dawn in the financial office has resorted to making harassing phone calls demanding payment as early as the 2nd of the month, even though the bill has consistently been paid before the 5th, before a late fee would actually be incurred. She was rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. Payment has never been a problem or prompted a phone call in the past, therefore it is not warranted now.
This facility continues on a downward trajectory. They expect immediate payment from families while neglecting basic responsibilities, such as failing to do residents' laundry, losing residents' clothing, and administering medications without proper authorization or notification.
