The activities director and executive director of this place are awesome. We really appreciate how accommodating they are. I highly recommend this senior living facility.

My 94 yo mother-in-law and I loved sharing the
400 North barber shop quartet concert tonight at Glencrest in Johns Creek. These events brighten and liven up the day.
I strongly recommend staying away from Glenncrest Senior Living.
I called to ask about a notice left in my family member’s room from a medical company stating that supplies had been dropped off to collect a urine sample and would be picked up at a later date. No one in the family had been informed about this testing or given an explanation for why these supplies were provided.
When the nurse was asked about it, she said she was not aware of it but stated that the physician orders these things. I explained that the resident’s physician performs lab work in the office and does not place orders through outside companies. She could not explain why the supplies had been dropped off.
I then asked her to spell her name so I could accurately document who I had spoken with. She refused, stating that she did not have to provide it. As a result, I am not certain that I have the correct spelling of Kenisa’s name.
This interaction is unfortunately consistent with my concerns about the level of communication and accountability at this facility. Medical staff is not professional, respectful, and willing to answer reasonable questions from a resident’s family or authorized representative regarding medications, medical testing, and services being provided to the resident. Instead, the attitude seems to be that they do not have to answer questions or account for what is being administered or provided to residents.
The corporate office is no better. Corporate staff seem to think they are above taking or returning calls to address problems involving their residents, despite the fact that are being paid thousands of dollars for residents to receive proper care at their facility. When residents are being charged that kind of money, basic communication, accountability, and responsiveness should not be too much to expect.
Families should not have to fight for basic information about what is being done to or for their family members. The word needs to be spread about this inappropriate lack of communication and disrepectful unprofessionalism. Based on my experiences, I highly recommend staying far away from Glenncrest Senior Living.

I would like to give a big shout-out to the amazing staff at Glenncrest in Johns Creek, Georgia!
A very special thank you to Jordan and Katie, the Activities Director and Assistant Activities Director. Every time we take the residents on outings, they go above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe, comfortable, and having a wonderful time. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care for the residents never go unnoticed.
I also want to recognize Cynthia, Rebecca, and Paul for the exceptional care they provide to Bill when I'm not there. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he is in such capable and compassionate hands. The med techs are always friendly, helpful, and willing to assist with a smile.
Thank you all for the dedication, compassion, and love you show the residents every day. You truly make a difference in their lives and in the lives of their families. Glenncrest is blessed to have such an outstanding team!
