- PAPeter AugustineApr 24, 20265.0Before you call the phone number, please note that it goes to a set of two (sometimes three) volunteer missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Their purpose it to invite others to come unto Jesus Christ. So, if you want to build your faith in Christ, the missionaries are the right place to go! However, they are unable to provide financial support as they themselves have sacrificed much in order to serve. If you call them and ask for financial support, they will direct you to 211 and give you information for a different missionary who can help you find a job in order to help you become financially independent.
