  My daughter goes here for pre-k and all the teachers and staff are always so nice and cheerful. I feel good knowing she is happy and well prepared for kindergarten.

  If you’re reading reviews for KinderCare in Cumming, GA Please let it be this one to help you make your decision. Years ago, when this place was still Akers Academy, I had my older kids enrolled. Unfortunately, I ended up pulling them out because the management wasn’t great and I didn’t feel like my kids were getting the care they deserved. Fast forward almost 8 years—I had another baby and heard KinderCare had taken over, so I decided to give it another shot. I’m so glad I did. The difference is night and day. Marnie and Ebony, the directors, are incredible. They run this place with so much care and attention to detail. You can tell they truly love what they do. Ms. Lily and Ms. Mandy are absolute gems!! The center is always clean, organized, and just feels good when you walk in. I can honestly say my child is getting the best care I could ask for. KinderCare brought this place back to life, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Your child will love it here—and you will too.

  I have two kids that attend KinderCare. The teachers and staff are great! They are very caring and it definitely feels like a family environment. The director has ALWAYS followed up with me with any concerns and made me feel very safe and comfortable sending my children there. The director is very kind/friendly but will also make sure policies are being followed to maintain and follow standards. Only reason I left 1 star ⭐ off is because I wish we were able to take a week off at a discounted price however that's just for my personal preference/need. Their hours work great with our families work schedule. They recently upgraded their classroom and playground and my kids have loved it.

  * Insufficient Staffing and Lack of Passion: I am concerned about the apparent shortage of teachers and staff. Additionally, some educators seem to lack the passion and care necessary for nurturing young children. * Poor Hygiene and Sanitation: The classroom often has an unpleasant odor, possibly due to infrequent diaper changes. * Disrespectful Teacher Behavior: I was deeply disturbed when my child's teacher yelled at him in front of me. This incident was both shocking and upsetting for my kid. * Inconsistent Childcare Practices: I understand that standards may vary between branches. However, it would be beneficial for all parents to be aware of the specific care practices implemented at this location, such as hair combing, face wiping, and diaper checks before dismissal. * Inconsistent Dismissal Procedures: Children are often left near the entrance door during the final minutes of the day. This practice can be unsettling for parents.care center closes by 6pm if u come by 5.55 you will see your kid standing near the entrance door. * I am also not seeing the center director for many days. Maybe she is in some training officially.
